We stayed for 3 days at this hotel and enjoyed it very much. The rooms were clean and a very nice size. Our room had a water stain on the carpet (room 307), but otherwise was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was central and easily within walking distance of all the major sites. The breakfast...

We stayed at this hotel for five nights in the beginning of August. The hotel was well-located and kept very clean. The staff were all very helpful. In fact, they went out of their way to help us by going to the post office to mail something home for us. The breakfast was very good. Our main complaint is that...

We chose this hotel based on other reviewers and the location. We were not disappointed. We arrived by train and were able to walk to the hotel with our small wheeled luggage. The hotel is also very centrally located for walking to the old town and around. We walked everywhere and never took public transport. The room was clean and...

Our stay at Sovereign hotel was absolutely perfect. It's not a very big hotel but it's so cozy and friendly that we loved it. The rooms were big and nicely decorated. The bathroom was also very nice, but we mostly liked the restaurant Mr. A, not only for the breakfast but also for the lunch. And it was very cheap...

Stayed here for a couple of nights for a great price. Location is awesome, some of the rooms might be noisy though. Room was clean, but a bit worn down compared to the **** rating of the place. Overall great price for value if you are looking to stay in the center at a reasonable price

Great location just off Wenceslas Square and near main train station which is good for transportation from/to airport although Airport Express public bus does get crowded. Very warm welcome on arrival. Room comfortable and modern with complimentary toiletries and tea/coffee, as well as free wifi throughout hotel. Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
