In one of the world’s most beautiful cities, Prague’s Hotel Antonie is welcoming and nicely appointed. It began as a large ancestral home with wonderful gardens and subsequently has been renovated to accommodate guests. It is outside the center but conveniently on a tram-line (three minute walk) making it quieter, safer and cheaper than a stay downtown. Secure parking at no extra charge.

Seems Hotel Antonie is a favorite with international travelers and business people looking for a homey, comfortable environment breakfast included. English speaking owners provide any tourist and transport information desired. And in the rigors of touring-by-auto through Europe we thought it a perfect rest along the way. We Loved Hotel Antonie! And we stayed longer in Prague because we were so comfortable.

We stayed at Hotel Antonie because we wanted to be within walking distance to Porg School. It was almost like staying at a bed and breakfast. The owner, Peter, was extremely accommodating and even drove us to the train station the morning we left. He made an excellent breakfast each morning and recommended some great places to dine in the neighborhood. The hotel was his grandfather's home which used to include many acres. The gardens surrounding the home were immaculate and beautiful. We had a great stay!

We wanted to stay in Prague just for one weekend to enjoy our 8th wedding anniversary. It was our second time in Prague and we did not to stay in the same big, expensive and sort of "posh" hotel in the in the city centre. As we wanted something cheaper we decided to try this "family-style" looking hotel located about 10 minutes from the river of Vlatava and city centre. Hotel Antonie is not a "posh" hotel at all and that was obvious for the first sight. It is an old vila in the middle of garden. Interiors and rooms are cosy and old-style decorated. There was only a small restaurant and bar for hotel guests but we did not want more than breakfast or quick drink in the evening. All hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with a fairly good command of English. It was great anniversary...

I could write a book about what was wrong with this “hotel”. The room was dark, i could not get a hot shower, several pieces of furniture was broken, decor is from communist past, not air conditioning, no lift, no shutters, receptionist was one of the rudest ever and hotel is located very far from center of Prague, in a very dangerous place.

You have to pay for parking and breakfast, The wall is very thin, you can hear neighbor conversation, poor isolation so really really noisy.

They rudely demanded to pay in cash.

Disgusting, gruesome, unpleasant, nasty, scabby, old, and worn is the best description for this "3 stars"

Would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone.

It depends what you are looking for. This is silent, peacefull and clean hotel. So close to city centre.150 krn with uber and 24krn with tren(just take 15 min apprx)
Hotel manager Petr is the best guide. He is giving all hints and necessary information to you about the city. He is also warm. You can chat with him in any topic. Breakfast is very good. Spirit of the hotel is impressive.

I recommend hotel Antoine for everybody who want to experience a deeper exerience in Prague than the one offered by corporate hotel chains.

Hotel Antonie is a family-run business located in a manor which itself would be worth a look, not to mention the truly wonderful garden.
In the hotel you may get advice on how to enjoy Prague at its best, you receive informations on places to visit, places where to eat to as well as the best hours to enjoy your palaces and museum visits.

One of the advantages of hotel Antonie is its location; placed at the first outskirts of the city, in order to reach the centre you may catch one of the tram lines which run just on the road in the front (stop is called Okrouhlická, by the record).
On the tram, you can enjoy a sight of the city that you would lose if you stay in a hotel in the centre, moroever it gives you a glimpse of Prague outside the very centre, which it rewards you with a better understanding of the city.
Lastly, Petr at the hotel can sell you public transport tickets, so there is no need to worry on how local public transport works.

Being hotel Antonie a manor, its rooms are quite different form each other in terms of space, I have found the personnel very helpful and willing to let you pick up a different room, if you fancy so.

If I ever go back to Prague, I would stay at hotel Antonie again.

After a long flight from Canada, the Hotel Antonie, our host Petr and his charming mother were just what we needed. Our room was European charm with many amenities included. Daily breakfast was delicious with a very good selection of hot and cold items. Although the hotel is a little out of the city centre, the transit was close and taxi fares very reasonable for sight seeing. The grounds of the hotel are just lovely with sunny patios and shaded gardens, including a fire pit that we made use of. Petr went out of his way to make our stay one of the most enjoyable of our tour.

I spend here a nice days. The services are very good. The owner Peter is a very nice guy. Can help with anything. Knows places in Prague. The hotel is clear, have a special atmosphere. Not like commercial hotels, wich are everywhere the same. The rooms are big, the view - can see the city centre. The location: very close to the centre of Prague, but in quiet place. Can rest in a huge garden with big trees (making joga or some other fitness) and nobody sees you :)
The breakfast was good. You can order - if you have some diet or like that.

We were travelling - with our small dog - from Denmark to Turkey. This route lead us through a lot of countries, and 6 different hotels. When we arrived at Hotel Antonie, we were greeted very warmly, and even though the hotel normally didn't allow dogs inside, we were told that all 3 of us was very wellcome. The room was on 4th. floor, and except from a missing lift, the room was perfect, and very clean. Our television didn't work; but after 10 minutes the owner himself came (11.00PM), and in just a second he fixed everything. The next morning we had a very nice breakfast, and I had a nice talk with Petr (the owner). It was very interesting to hear, what had happened during wartime - just outside the hotel.
I sincerely do recommend this nice hotel.
