At first glance, the area is a little grotty and you think, um, not good but read on ..... The hotel ( more apartment block ) is opposite the main tram line - with the centre of Prague and beyond just four stops away. It is ideal for sightseeing as the tram is cheap and very frequent. The hotel has...

Based on the reviews and the internet price (under 100 euros for 3 nights) we decided to book this small hotel. Decent size room for Europe standard. Very clean. Bed was on the thin side but ok. Very good and plentiful breakfast included and for the price can't complain. No reception in the building, need to go across the street...

I should first point out that we did not actually end up staying in residence Tabor - as other reviews have pointed out this hotel is closely associated with golden city apartments across the road, which is where you check in. Stayed for 5 nights. The hotel location is easy to find - directly on tram route 9 from Prague Centre. Breakfast was cold buffet but substantial and best of all the hotel had FREE WiFi. Plenty of reasonably priced restaurants in the local area (Mainly Czech food) with Chinese all you can eat buffets on every corner. Take your own...

Plus points: 1. Close to tram stops (5, 9 and 26 routes - the 26 goes out as far as the airport bus service 119). 2. Breakfast is very good but don't expect anything cooked. There's fresh fruit, pastries, breads, cereals, meats and cheeses, coffee and various teas. You can also take tea, coffee, sugar, milk and fruit for your...

This Hotel is part of Golden City Hotel across the street so if you find it hard to find reviews search golden city. There are some pictures of the room on Tripadvisor under golden city. The Hotel is value for money but there are things you need to know and understand. 1, Reception is over the road in Golden City...
