We're new in doing reviews in Trip Advisor, but we wanted to thank the Nicholas Hotel for the wonderful attention we got while staying there with my husband for three days. Rado; Tina and Petra were absolutely kind to us, indicating us how to get to places; recommending us the best spots or just being nice when they didn't need...

Just come back from a 3 night stay at the Nicholas Hotel Residence. We were met at the airport by a taxi arranged through the hotel. The driver was polite, on time and reasonable value (we used him both directions). The greeting on our arrival at the hotel was friendly, courteous and informative. All subsequent interractions with staff were equally...

We enjoyed four nights with our two adult sons in the two-bedroom apartment at the Nicholas. By far this was a better place to stretch out and explore Prague than having two hotel rooms. And the price was a great value. Reception is staffed 24/7 by young folks who speak English well, are delightful and have spot-on suggestions for restaurants...

Nice quaint 9 rooms hotel. Nice people at the reception and all speak English fluently and are very helpful. I wished the service staff spoke English too. However the location is bang off Charles Bridge and cannot get better than that to visit all the amazing spots of Old Town Prague! A "must consider hotel" simply because of the location!...

We received such a warm welcome by Artom, not sure on spelling, sorry to say. A wonderful small hotel that was once part of the church next door. It is on a fairly busy street but overall quiet enough. Liked the location with an easy short walk to the Charles Bridge and Old Town. We have a wonderful room for...

There is only one word: "Fantastic" All rooms are atrium with sleeping on the first floor. Small and fully equipped kitchen is available in room. Nice view to square or St. Nicolas church. Breakfest served in hall, so you will take what you want and eat it in private of your room.

We arrived, from the UK, for a five night stay and had no problem finding the hotel which is very close to transport links (both metro and tram). Checking in was quick and easy with friendly and competent staff. The room was lovely, clean, and tidy and the kitchenette was stocked with some nice welcome treats, wine, snacks, beer, etc....

We are just back from a visit to Prague and stayed at the Nicholas Hotel Residence. It was a very good hotel in a central location. The Tram stop is just around the corner and a few minutes walk to the Charles Bridge. I have never stayed in a hotel where the service was so personalised. The manager and staff...

Hello Kyra, Thank you so much for such a lovely feedback! Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
