The family room was fantastic to house the whole familly (7 peoples). And very cheap. The down town was easily accessible by bus and tram. The collective kitchen was very usefull but not always functional.

I have been travelling a lot of times and stayed in a number of different hostels, and this has to be by far the worst one. The check in was awful, the room was dirty, had to pay 90czk for sheets and they didn't even provide for both of us, the manager was extremely rude and entitled. Could not care less about the issues that were going on and replied with terrible attitude. Honestly I would avoid it at all cost, there are far better and cheaper options in Prague with friendlier staff.

a&o Prague Rhea is a great and well-equipped hostel, it is not in the city center but in a calm residential area. Although there was some issue with my reservation, the reception staff was kind and handled it well, I even got compensation for the lengthy wait until they sorted it out. Sometimes you need to wait quite long at the reception desk as it's a huge hostel with 21 floors and many people want to check-in and arrange their issues at the same time. The breakfast is good. There is a huge area on the groundfloor where you can hang out, work, eat etc. The bathroom was clean and everything was working properly. Only thing is that the ventilation in the room was not very good since it was not possible to open the windows fully (due to I guess security reasons). There are restaurants, cafes and grocery stores very nearby. Overall, it's a great choice for travellers.

Friendly and helpful staff, the premises generally was very clean. The building the furniture are in an excellent condition (new, I would say), The AOHostel provided us with bed sheets and towels (unlike in Dresden). Reception helped us with the city directions/transportation and any information we required.

Since closure of another a&o in Prague this venue becomes overcrowded especially on weekends. Check in could take an hour or even longer! Inexperienced reception staff often does not what they’re doing . Some lifts not working. This is a high rise, 20+ floor building and getting to your room could take as long as ten minutes It is a shame, I have used a&o in Prague many times and it used to be comfortable budget hotel option with reasonable prices for private twin or family rooms

Sad to say your clean crew is not doing a job, in dorm I stayed they did not clean beds between guest. As no one could tell what bed was open or used, as people check out during my stay beds were not atented to by clean crew, trash can 3 days I was there never emptied.. some of your staff very rude, went to get plate as your kitchen not stocked was told by reciption were to get once there staff yelled at me said get from reciption said there busy told me to go here & get .. dining area after breakfast time not clean untill almost 12 so if you are not eating with the breakfast crowd you don't have clean place to eat. Smoking area right out your front door.. so to get in you have to go past all smoking people..wtf 😒.. not a good experience at all cant recommend even at your ok price , as well with your large group you book kids push every button on lift so to get to ones room takes forever plus they block all areas ..

I'm not picky on hostels, kitchens small and little things but quality of rooms and breakfast is okay. My concern is safety, I told the hostel that me and my friends were followed and stalked by a man who was just hanging around the hostel for hours. When we left to go out for a drink, he followed us in the tram. He was consistently staring at us then started taking pictures of us. We got off early and he then got off on the next stop and hid in a bush, to where he ended up showing up behind us again. We ended up hiding in the subway, he found us so we ran to more people, we're a group of 5 girls in our late teens and 20s, so we were terrified. This isn't really the hostels fault, what is is how they handled it. I told them early in the morning and they told me to come back later when a manager was present. I did a few hours later and they made me wait for 30 minutes, taking people who arrived in the line after me, before me. When I finally talked to someone they seemed annoyed, and gave me the impression that they believed I misread the situation perhaps. I took a picture of the man and they gave me their email to send it to them, and said to let them know if he comes back. I understand they can't do anything to find him, but maybe assurance that he can't come back, or at least an attitude that they understand how dangerous this could be would have made me feel more secure. I feel brushed off, I'm on vacation and I spent two hours running and hiding from someone, and then an hour trying to tell the staff about it only to be brushed off. Perhaps they take it more seriously than I realize, but I didn't get an impression that they were concerned at all. I'm very frustrated with my experience and don't feel secure here.

Someone stole our money from the room while we were sleeping inside. The room can only be opened with a card. It's scary that someone came into the room while we were sleeping. The staff was not helpful. There are no cameras in the corridors. There is no safe in the room either. The staff didn't even say they were sorry for what happened.

Pros - I found good facilities, clean, organized, Cons - long waiting times at check in, had to wait for about 2 hours in line to check in, hidden charges at arrival, i booked for a price but at the check in I had to pay more for renting the bed sheets. That's not cool
