I visited Prague in July and this hostel was located very close to the main attractions. The communal areas were welcoming and everyone was so friendly. It can get loud on the streets at night so use the earphones given but a lovely hostel with a homely feel. I throughly enjoyed my stay here!

The location of this hostel was fantastic - right next to the Old Town Square and the staff were helpful organising our quite complicated room requests. The only thing I would say is if you're a girl think about booking an all girls dorm as we did not and males substantially outnumbered girls, which would've been alright if the female...

As someone who is not a frequent hostel user, I couldn't recommend this place more. The location was excellent, the rooms clean and the staff - namely Martin and Josue were extremely accommodating, fun and helpful. Although the wifi and the outside noise from the hostel were not ideal, I did not find it to be an issue. They gave...

Great location- very central so easy to get around. Josue at the front desk is very welcoming and helpful. Can chose your own level of socializing with plenty of people to meet in the common room. Free cereal and sandwich. Lots of clean showers and offer free linen and towels. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed my experience at the old Prague hostel. The reception was nice and had a good sense of humour. Rooms were clean and showers were always clean. The Wi-Fi was terrible. Only worked when everybody wasn't using it, which was hardly ever. Other then that the only other issue was the noise from the street which isn't really the hostels...

Great centrally located hostel in Prague. Very friendly staff, free breakfast and free sandwich every day! Bright airy rooms. Pub crawls and walking tours start from the hostel every day. The showers were very tiny though and hot water struggled. Also the hostel hosted stag parties and also a massive group of teenagers who were so loud, rowdy and disruptive....

Very friendly staff, however in the room there is no fan or air con so had to leave the window slightly open, we were directly above a night club and noise throughout the night till 5am. Had a kitchen so that was really useful in saving money and the staff were extra helpful when sorting out trips. Basic hostel but...

I came with some friends to stay in a dorm of 6 beds in June 2016. The bed was pretty comfort and cozy. The receptionist will give you a free bread (with cheese or ham) if you ask for breakfast. There are also free foods for breakfast in the kitchen room like corn n flake, orange juice, milk, pasta, rice....

Great hostel. Very friendly staff and nice people. The showers were very clean but they get very hot sometimes so you kind of burn yourself in the shower. Clean beds and you get your own locker and a key for this locker which is really chill.

This is an average hostel. There is nothing terrible about it but it isn't great. Some things we were not happy with: - breakfast is a pretty gross sandwich and some cereal (this is free though so better than nothing!) - we were given a room with two singles instead of what we are pretty sure we ordered, a double...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
