Beautiful town house right on the square In Telc. The kind staff were waiting to meet us outside at the time we had planned to arrive. They helped us with our luggage and showed us where we could park our car just a hundred meters from the house. We stayed in the VIP room that has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. Everything was perfect. Wonderful breakfast as well. Our highest recommendation.

Also known as Apartmany Chornitzer dum, this building is on the lovely main square in Telc and houses a bank on the entry level and four lovely apartments. We had the large second floor apartment and a smaller 3rd floor apartment with air conditioning. Both were one bedroom apartments with living rooms and kitchens. Because of the August heat, my husband and I took the smaller, air-conditioned room, which was not as lovely. There was no breakfast, but we were able to arrange to attend the breakfast buffet for guests at a nearby hotel. There was a lovely outdoor courtyard in the rear, with a picnic table and grill and steps down to a gate to access a path around the lake. There were free open-air plays at night on the lake around the bend. They were all in Czech, but with haunting music. There was also a festival going on with booths all around the square. We did not realize that we could drive behind the booths to pull up in front of Chornitzer House to unload. Then we were directed back out the city gate to a public parking lot where we could park for free with a parking pass. From the lot, it was a short walk across a bridge to the town square. We stayed 2 nights and, except for the hear, had a wonderful stay. The manager was away for the weekend, so once we got our keys, we paid at check-in and were given an emergency number and told to drop the keys and parking pass in the drop box when we left.

Unfortunately we only stayed the one night I would suggest staying a minimum of 2 nights to take advantage of this exceptional property and location. The apartment was spotless with an outstanding kitchen and dining room. If you are family traveling with kids this property in a must or if you want a romantic location for you and your partner I highly recommend this stunning property.

We enjoy travelling around Czech and exploring nice and interesting places. Telč is one of the must visit places. We decided to bookthe VIP appartment in Chornitzer House. Whilst it does not have a view over the square the apartment itself is fab. Spacious, well furnished with quality appliances and comfy beds. The lady at the reception was extra nice (not always the case in Czech), gave us plenty of tips where to eat and what to see. Strongly recommend to book if you want a spacious, clean and nicely designed accommodation in Telč.

We rented the two-bedroom unit at the top of the house, and it was spectacular - our favourite stay during our three weeks in the Czech Republic. A beautiful open space with lots of natural light, every bit of furnishing and equipment you could wish for, spacious bedrooms and bathroom, an astonishing amount of storage. The front of the building faces the main square, the rear faces a lovely garden space leading down to one of the fishponds, so the unit is central to everything, yet very quiet at night. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed two nights, second time, and enjoyed our stay again. The place is right on the main square of Telc, apartments are well equipped and so you can stroll the town and drop in your apartment to relax or change and then carry on again. Definitely coming back again...

The apartment was really big and modern. I was welcomed by a very friendly lady, who was waiting for me as I arrived a bit late. I can fully recommend this apartment, it is cleand and has everything in what you need. Including coffee and and a mini bar. Free Wifi is also available. If you arrive by car, you will receive a resident card, for free parking close to the apartment.

Very centrally located and quite recently renovated property. The entire accommodate facilities were specious, the kitchen corner was well equipped. The only downside was the cleanliness of the apartment (dust, dry water drops on the glossy things, stains on the sofa).

We stayed two nights at Chornitzer House and were pleased with our choice. We stayed in the apartment with air conditioning and found it to be very clean and comfortable. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. It is right in the square of this beautiful town. It was arranged that we have breakfast at Hotel Telc which is very close, but if you prefer to self cater, the kitchen is excellent. The only thing to note is that if you stay in this apartment with air conditioning which is on the top floor, it is up some steep stairs.

This is the largest one bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment we've stayed in Europe in a beautiful historic building in the Unesco listed main square. Petra organised a taxi to pick us up from the train station. It has been renovated beautifully and is clean and modern with a huge living area. The architectural details are beautiful, I enjoyed reading about the history of the house while we stayed there. Breakfast options were quite limited in Telc, would suggest self catering there. There is a small grocery store a few doors away from the apartment ( closed on Sundays) and another larger store about 10 minutes walk. We caught a train to Slavonice for the day, it's a very scenic trip through the forest in parts and past small towns. There are some nice walking and bike trails in the area.
