If you need Internet, you should choose another place to stay. We needed to send some emails and other work related things, but couldn't get internet to function. Even though we tried with 5 different devices, (two ipads, two mobile phones and one laptop), the staff kept blaming our devices not to function properly! We find this behaviour extremely rude,...

Monday 21st was supposed to be a very special occasion for me and my family but it turned out I felt I was working for the hotel. I booked this hotel well in advance, maybe a month prior, a surprise for my partners family as they have never stayed in such 'luxury'. I booked the restaurant and organised for Champagne...

One part of the hotel is an old barn from the age of the Hanseatic League and the annex is very modern decorated with naval themes and catering for the sailors calling on the port for yachts situated on the other side of the street. The first night was a bit noisy because there was a company's incentive party in...

I liked the location: close to some conference venues and the old town sights and to the main railway station. I was disappointed that the room was not equipped with a hot kettle and microwave oven - important for vegetarians for whom the food choice is not satisfactory.

Nice hotel for couples. Nice interior, great staff. Nice breakfast, but not worth going to restaurant on supper ala carte. The location is great, just next to river and marina. Because of historic building very small windows.

Hotel with great location, in the centre of the city with view on the river and marina, located in an old restored granary. Rooms are small but arrange with taste, unfortunatelly me and my husband got room with 2 single beds which was totally uncomfortable. the hotel has a wonderful spa, which we benefited with highest pleasure. One of the best hotel in Gdansk. Nice breakfast, big rooms. With its own beer brewery in the basement it should be a perfect hotel for some. Short walk to the old town and center. Friendly and serviceminded staff. With SPA in the hotel. Nice meetingrooms with tasty snacks included. The only negative thing is a wifi which was on...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Gdansk is the best boutique hotel in the Tricity and a true flagship hotel of Gdansk. Uniquely situated by the picturesque yacht marina, in the heart of the city, the hotel is often recognized as a special place in the city center. The hotel has two synergic components - a granary from the XVIIIth century, restored with great attention to detail, enchanting with its elegance and history, and the Yachting part, whose modern decorating themes infuse the interiors with a sea-inspired look. Thus, the fascinating history and traditions of the city of Gdansk are strongly present in the both parts of Hotel Gdansk. The Spa in Hotel Gdansk is one of the most modern and fashionable Spas at the Baltic coast, and one of the best Med Spas in Poland.Hotel Gdansk Restaurant is an unusual restaurant in a unique place. It serves exquisite dishes of Polish and Gdansk regional cuisine. The mini-brewery is a great addition to the boutique complex and a very interesing attraction for Hotel Gdansk guests, who may here try the best beer in Poland. Our Schwarzbier (dark beer) received this title during the prestigious beer contest in Zywiec 2011. There is always someting interesting happening in our brewery. At least 3 times a week you can enjoy live music. ... more   less
