The rooms are very clean & quiet with a small balcony. Breakfast offered with good choice of breads, cheese & eggs. Bottled water was in the room. Location was excellent due to being on the city bus route with automated ticket dispenser.

We have stayed 3 days in Villa Angela and the relation between price and value is very good. Rooms were clean and warm (which is very important in mid November). In spite of having a room close to the reception, it was quiet and we could hear no noises. Villa Angela has excellent location - very close to the bus stop (3min walk) and within 7min you can get to the city center by bus. Good variety of breakfasts, each day menu was slightly different. Regarding restaurant (not included in the price of stay). the meal of the day is considerably big and tasty portion for low price. Definitely recommendable.

Stayed here a week ago, good choice of breakfast, hot or cold buffet. Room spacious and clean with balcony, had evening menu once delicious meal , rather slow service.Reception staff very friendly and helpful, especially Justyna who was very knowledgeable about what to see and how to get there. An extra bonus is the hotel is on the 210 bus route from the airport, you can also jump on this bus to go into town, takes about 15 minutes, or you can walk in about half an hour. Overall a very good and reasonably priced hotel, I enjoyed my visit.

Easy to find small hotel on main bus route from airport and into city centre. Good sized clean rooms with small balcony. Bottled water and tea/coffee in room replenished daily. Good choice of hot and cold buffet breakfast. Excellent evening meal, although the service was slow and we had to wait nearly an hour for our meal. Helpful reception staff, especially Justyna who had good local knowledge of public transport and places to visit.

Spent five nights here and was very impressed. Staff very pleasant and helpful, rooms and hotel very clean and smart in appearance. Breakfast was well presented and fresh, small in variety but ample and considering the size of hotel, very good, room facilities were great, big,new flat screen tv with many channels, unfortunately none in english, but had USB and HDMI ports so plugging in a thumb or external drive was no dramas. WIFI in rooms was great, with no drop outs and password protected. Beds were comfortable and made fresh every day. Small empty bar fridge in room with kettle, coffee, tea, sugar and creamer powder refreshed every day. Shops and service station across road and only 10-15 minutes distance to main centrum of Gdansk. Nice views from third floor, downside was no lift only stairs. Buses pass hotel. All in all, a nice pleasant place to stay. Worth the price.

My wife and I visited Gdansk, and for me this was the first time visiting the city. We found Villa Angela online and were impressed with the price of accomidation and the posted photos on the hotel website. While this is by no means a luxury hotel, it's did offer comfortable beds and clean rooms. The hotel is not central but we managed to find the local bus that took us directly to the old town which was only a ten minute drive away. The hotel boasts an ample size car park and also a balcony for every rooms. It was a nice stay but would personally prefer to stay in a more central location next time.

We have just stayed for three nights as a couple at this delightful guesthouse in an easy to reach suburb of lovely Gdansk. It was a very good find especially as it is on bus route 210 which goes directly to and from the airport and the stop is only a couple of minutes away. The room was very comfortable and I slept very well. Clean spacious bathroom with good power shower. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in a guesthouse offering continental fare at this price. It was like having an evening buffet on a plate! So generous with hams, tomatoes, tuna, egg mayonnaise, sausages plus much more. Quite a lot of work for the chef to put out each morning but really appreciated. For this alone I would highly recommend this guesthouse! The bus is also only ten minutes to the city. Only one problem was with the wake up calls but I think our phone may have been out of order as the receptionist said she had rung the room and would check the phone.. While in Gdansk be sure to visit the wonderful spacious zoo for only 5 pounds and also the lovely seaside resort of Sopot which is 20 minutes by train.. All in all this is perfect for a long weekend.

We made booking few montyhs before the trip. When we arrived, we were told there would be a wedding party during the last night. Our room was situated on the 1st floor right upstairs from the restaurant. We were assured that the noise coming from the hall and outside would stop around 10, but it only got worse. We had to get up at 4:30 am to go to airport, so no sleep that night. We asked for different room, but that was not available. The party ended later than we were told. The hotel did nothing to make our stay pleasant during the last night. I'm disappointed about that. Hotel itself had nice facilities and was in a calm neighbourhood. A bit far from the centre, but still if you have the energy you can walk and enjoy the town. Close by was also few supermarkets. Busses go regulary and are clean.

Stayed here for three nights with my husband. Had a lovely suite on the third floor. Bedroom was very big witha tv and also had a big bathroom with a bath which was very relaxing after a long day of sight-seeing. Sitting room was big with a tv and coffee making machine, couch and table and chairs. Breakfast was adequate. Hotel is situated near a bus stop for the city centre which is about 20 mins away on the bus. Also situated near two grocery shops. Staff were very friendly and we had a great stay.
