The room was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable, with a view of no. 2 shipyard museum. The whole placewas cold and unwelcoming, and felt a little sterile overall. The breakfast was ok, but the staff were very glum indeed. An older waitress had a tee-shirt that said 'Who cares?', which summed up the experience for me.

I stayed at the hotel Gryf 3 nights in the beginning of april 2017. It is located a bit far from the old town but quite close to the main railway station. The hotel staff was very helpful. I was surprised that at the check-in having viewed my russian passport the girl at the reception started to speak to me...

Good value for little money is always good! The rooms are not equiped with the most spectacular and modern furniture but everything is in a good condition and clean, the beds were comfy. You will find tea/coffee facilities in the room as well as a TV and hairdryer. Cosmetics are available too. The breakfast buffet is decent but not luxurious....

Spacious clean and reasonably comfortable rooms, breakfast good with something for everybody, personnel friendly and very helpful, yet discreet. Location some 15 minutes walk from the city centre and 10 minutes from the main station, in close neighborhood of the famous former shipyard. The only small minus was the distinct smell of cleaning and desinfection agents. I can certainly recommend...

From the outside the Gryf looks a bit out of place next to blighted buildings and the old shipyard, but the Gryf itself is clean and modern-looking. The staff is friendly and helpful and most speak English well. Our room was simple if a bit worn. The Bathroom could use an upgrade, but otherwise it was a comfortable room with...

Very positive experience. Room was nice size, bed was comfortable and clean, very easy check in. Price was very affordable, and location was excellent for walking to most places. Most thrilling feature for me was a bathtub/shower as most hotels in Poland are mainly showers only. After a day of active walking, a hot soak was just what was needed!...

The hotel is priceworthy and have a good location. By walking, it took us about five minutes to the main train station and ten minutes to old town. There is also a tram stop right in front of the hotel. The staff is friendly and speak english very well. I would recomend this to people who plan on only sleeping...

Hotel Gryf is a perfect place to stay in Gdańsk. Its in the city center, close to the former shipyard where you can enjoy night life nowadays. The hotel is clean, pet friendly, rooms are large with very comfortable beds. The staff is professional and really helpful. I recommend breakfasts, they're delicious with variety of options for everyone. Gryf Hotel's...

Good hotel with good service. Rooms are good, bathroom is small but with bath. Breakfast is fine, a lot of choice. It's about 10 minutes walking from the old city, near the train station. It's a good place to stay

We stayed at this hotel just for one night (room #219). The hotel is located in the dock area and at the same time it is in the Old Town. Our room was clean and surprisingly large, with own seating area and all necessary accessories, as you can see at my photoes. The wifi was free but not very strong...
