Very nice hotel, nice staff, clean rooms, neat and fairly new or renovated, average food, the hotel is 15-20 minutes away from the city center, and after 8pm there is not much to do at the hotel or its surroundings. Overall a pretty good experience.

Yes. The did have tea and coffee making as well as bottled water. You can coordinate tours for both salt mines and auschwitz through the front desk. Front desk staff was very helpful. You can easily take bus to center of town to markets and such. There is a large mall in walking distance.
