The price you'll pay to stay at the Freedom Hostel is so low that it's hard to justify complaining about anything. It is a hostel after all, not a hotel. We stayed here for three nights in a twin room with an en-suite so what more could you want? Well, a good night's sleep would've been nice. The main problem... More

Be ready to be woken up very early due to the noisy groups of travellers on their way to and from the kitchen, the rooms are basic but had all you need for a nights sleep if you had earplugs. The staff are friendy and did all they could, breakfast was okay. You would find something to eat and coffee... More

For young travellers like myself this place was great, really cheap and only a few minutes walk from the main town centre. However I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone expecting more than a hostel as you had to pay for towels and there was no safe or hairdryer. For me this was no problem as at such a low... More

The hostel was basic but provided everything we needed for a few days in Poland. After reading the reviews before I went, I expected noise during the night on the left side and since discovering our room was on the left side, I expected the worst. However, it was quiet on the night. The breakfast was very basic but the... More

Stayed here for two nights in a twin bed room just to see the city of Krakow, and it was faultless. The staff was always helpful with everything, and ordering taxis if we didn't feel like walking to the old town centre. However this walk doesnt take long anyway as it only took about 15 mins to get right to... More

Stayed here with my girlfriend for 4 nights and found it to be excellent. Literally only a ten minute walk into the main market square, and thats if you're taking your time! From what i gather all the rooms have 2 single beds in them (im not 100% on that mind), but it was no hassle at all to push... More

Stayed here with my mate for a week last week, this is more of a hotel than a hostel. The staff are amazing and helpful and are a wealth of knowledge. One of the girls helped me learn a few phrases in polish which did me well! The location was really good, took about 15 minutes to walk into town... More

Stayed here on a stag do in May 2012. Generally stay in higher rated hotels but was not disappointed. Incredibly cheap, reception staff really helpful, breakfast a disappointment but bakery over the road and take-away's/restaurants within close proximity. Room had twin beds and was on suite. Basic and good enough for a lads holiday. The hostel is on the fourth... More

Decent enough hotel for it's price. Although we were there on a lad's holiday and the walls were probably too thin for our neighbours when we came in at 4am and made 10 minutes of noise before bed. Would probably be more suitable for couples or families on a budget. The pillows werent brilliant, nor the breakfast. Nowhere to put... More

I spent a few days here with my girlfriend and we were both very happy with it. The rooms are simple and small, but very clean and accomodating. The beds are comfortable, and shower is good - although the water didn't heat up on a couple of the mornings, apparently due to works within the building (this is a shared... More
