Perfectly located hotel for a good night's sleep and hot shower. Located right next to the train station, so its quick and efficient arriving from other cities and using the airport train. Friendly staff and very clean.

We have just returned from a city break in Kraków. I decided to book with ibis as it’s a name that I am aware of and I have used ibis before. I paid for a bed and breakfast option and stayed for 3 nights. The hotel seemed to be really quiet but I expect this is from the Covid situation. The hotel was basic but I wasn’t expecting too much from the price I paid. The rooms were really basic but clean. We had complimentary water and the room comes with a hairdryer and soap on the sink and in the shower. A couple of downsides, the mattress topper had a plastic coating which really wasn’t comfortable to sleep on. Again, this could be down to the Covid situation so not sure if this is a permanent addition. There are also no drink facilities or fridge. It would of been nice to be able to make a coffee but not the end of the world. The hotel is well prepared for Covid. There are hand sanitisers dotted around, limits number of guests allowed in the lift and rooms are left empty for 24hrs. The breakfast was served by a member of staff. It was a standard breakfast of cereal, pastries, yoghurt, meats, cheese and a few hot items like scrambled eggs so it was pretty simple to get something to eat. They are very strict of face masks and they have to be worn entering the hotel and whilst in the foyer or restaurant until you get to your table. The hotel bar is reasonably priced and they serve food throughout the day if required. The hotel itself is around a 15 minute walk from the town centre and there is a massive shopping centre within a few minutes walk so it’s fairly good for location. There are also tram and bus stops right outside. We were due to check out at 10am so we packed up and went to reception to use the luggage room, we were told this was closed due to Covid but we were allowed to keep our room until 5pm at no extra cost so this was an added bonus. Overall, not a bad place to base yourself for a few days just don’t expect too much in terms of extras.

As many many travellers around the world, we had to cancel our trip to Europe, which included a stay at Ibis Krakow Stare Miasto. Every other property we were meant to stay provided us with a refund on our reservation, this property was the only one that DID NOT work with us, not even allowing to change dates, even though Poland had closed its borders. We will make our trip happen in the future, and we will stay ay all the places we had booked with the exception of this property. Greedy business like this need to be boycotted when things normalise.

Nice rooms but small, cleaned and fresh towels daily. Check in and out quick and easy. Friendly staff. Right beside huge shopping centre, about 10 minute walk from the Main square with plenty of bars and restaurants. 30 minutes from airport by taxi.

Best hotel for best price in heart of Kraków, few steps from Railway Station and few more from city centre (main square market is just 10-15 minutes by walk). Nice rooms, nice and very kind staff, delicious breakfasts. I recommend to all!
