I would say this hotel is a smalishl very classy boutique hotel rather than the stated 5 star hotel. That doesn't say there is anything wrong just a descriptive nuance as it has most of the facilities and support a 5 star hotel has. It is located slightly out of the main tourist area but right on the riverside. Ask for a river side room if you can. A steady 25 minute walk will get you into the main square and 20 minutes will get you to the castle. I arrived early yet reception made sure my room was ready. The room itself was a nice size, spotlessly clean and well maintained. The bed comfortable enough to ensue a good nights sleep. The bathroom was equipped with a good shower that worked well unlike many hotels. The rooms are very effectively noise insulated from other rooms The main restaurant was COVID spaced and all staff masked. The food was always well presented and tasty. I was never rushed to finish and leave. One thing I found strange was the breakfast buffet was laid out as self serve yet waitress service was the order but it still worked fine. The staff encountered were all very professional and customer focussed so it made for a very pleasant stay.…
Stayed in Niebieski for 3 nights. Pleased with the room, bed very comfortable. Staff members very nice and helpful. Hotel is located about 10-15min from Wawel Castle. There is a tram stop just outside hotel which can take you straight to the old town for 3,40zl. Uber is very cheap- around 10zl to get there too. For someone who likes some fun I would definitely recommend to get a electric scooter which can be found very close to the hotel (few companies runs it, get the app and collect the scooter, leave in designated area which shows in app too). They cost around 5zl for 10 min. Wish someone said anything about it before, we only found out on our last day. It was such a great fun
Really enjoyed my stay in this hotel which puts the hotels in Northern Ireland to shame in terms of cleanliness, service and attention to detail. The quality of the tiling and mosaics in our bathroom was exemplary and much superior to anything I have seen in the UK where "good enough" is the motto a lot of the time. Even the lift was scrupulously clean right up to the roof and into the corners which was no mean feat as it was almost entirely stainless steel. The breakfast was beautiful and there is a choice of cold or cooked food which is well presented. The restaurant has a nice view of the river and you can sit out on the balcony if it is a good day. Not all was perfect of course; the bar at reception looks like an afterthought and is definitely not cosy. Pillows are like marshmallows but not in a good way and double bed is 2 singles joined together which I do not like. Spa is nice but massage was ok but nothing special and there is no swimming pool. Decor is very nice and you can walk into the old town from here easily if desired. If you are going to take this option use the walkway beside the river as the street that runs beside the hotel is not particularly nice in parts if you decide to walk. Alternatively you can catch the tram or get a taxi (this cost between 14 and 30 Zloty so make sure you check before taking the taxi). Overall though I was impressed and would definitely recommend.…
This is not a 5 star hotel by any standards. It is clean and comfortable but no where near a 5 star. I'd give it maybe a 3 star if I had to be pushed. Plus the staff aren't the happiest people in the world for what ever reason
Me and my partner stayed over 4 days for valentines day. Upon arrival, first impressions were good, clean, tidy and high end aesthetic. We got put into a room next to reception room 12, it had no bath so we went to the reception and changed us to 1st floor room 119, street view, no hassle what so ever. Comfy bed, nice deep bath, what more can you want for a few days? The only downside to the room is the tv, it would be perfect if it had netflix or some wat of wat hing different english channels when you're in bed. It is close to town, about a 15 min walk, we didn't a few times it's not that bad, but if you download an app called bolt it's a local taxi service, and you'll pay about 10zl per trip it comes within 10 mins, we did this a lot. I would definitly stay here again, I would just request to be higher and river view, but for what you pay, its brilliant. Especially the food at the restaurant, vanilla sky is an abserlout breath taker, and the pizza place next door is also cheap and very very nice. The staff were very polite, and kind, any help was no trouble. 10/10…
