I stayed at the pod orlem during a business trip. The rooms are small but clean, however there is no air conditioning and it's far too noisy to keep your windows open at night. It made for a restless sleep. Bathroom, again clean, but tiny. The shower was barely enough for me to move and I'm only 5"4', 52kg, so...

I first stayed here 10 years ago with my family. Returning here again I found the service was still excellent and breakfast was brilliant! There's lots of shops nearby as the area has had a lot of investment recently. Highly recommended to anyone staying in Bydgoszcz.

This hotel used by the upper class and officer Corp from Germany, Poland and Russia. As soon as you enter the hotel and ballroom you are taken back in time. The food is filling with a variety to choose from.

The hotel is one of the loveliest i've stayed at.. Loved the old style decor, beautiful staircase. We had single rooms and they were cosy, comfortable, and spotless clean. My room even had a balcony. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and had decent coffee. Location is great, walking distance to all major sights.

The decor of Pod Orlem is just great. The friendly lady at the reception gave us a very beautiful room with a superb balcony. Apart from the decor I was impressed by the quality of the craftmanship, also in smaller details like the hecks and locks (cylinders). Great breakfast in exceptional atmosphere (- with blunt knives !). We liked our...

Great hotel ....sure it is dated..maybe a bit "old fashioned "compared to newer hotels. But the location is perfect for exploring the city. Close enough to the old town for bars and restaurants but far enough away to avoid the noise. Friendly staff who speak basic English. The bar in the hotel is pricey compared to the rest of the...

Stayed in the Pod Orlem in Apr 15. A very traditional hotel with high ceilings, lots of chandeliers and gold leaf. The bar was very quiet and the bar sandwich snack quite an acquired taste for me. The room was a good size and again traditional, but had everything you need. The restaurant in the ornate dining room was very...

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. Good location, only a short walk to the square with some nice shops and restaurants. Decor is a little dated but I didn't mind, I felt it suited the hotel well.

I have stayed at this hotel to accompany a close relative to a surgical procedure and we have shared a twin bedroom. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms overall very clean and pleasant. The building is old and very classy, with a lot of history to it. The entrance, reception and stairs are majestic in their elegance, and...
