I know you probably really want to stay here because of the unique cell rooms & the entire concept surrounding the building. We made an exception to go a little over our budget to stay here for 3 nights because we were so excited for it. But trust me, you're better off just touring the hostel when they do daily...

Excellent facilities and unique setting from converted prison. This theme was consistent throughout the hostel and they maintain a small museum for those interested. Very helpful staff when I asked for a map at reception I not only received this but also a very detailed description of all the landmarks, where to go, how to get there. Very Impressed. The Shared...

Reasonable stay. Staff were friendly. Bathrooms were average. Noisy on weekends being adjacent to Metelkova (outdoor nightclub open until at least 3-4am ). Had some creepy clubbers (non-hostel guests) populate the lounge for the morning after being up all night partying (it was raining outside). Using drugs in the courtyard and drinking in the lounge. Slightly awkward for guests. Also...

When we checked in, we were very impressed with the appearance of this hostel and our room. After we unpacked we were headed to dinner and the door to our room literally broke off the hinges. We were moved to a different room, a little bit smaller. At around 11 pm, my friend who I was traveling with was mysteriously...

We spent one Friday night in a 2-room cell. it was way too loud for me outside. I guess we're too old! (42 and 46). We could park for free which was great and the breakfast was ok as well. The staff was really very friendly!!

Actually i can think of hotels/hostels that are more prison-like than Celica! Seriously Celica fitted the bill for my (rugby) group in most respects...for the price it is ideal, staff were great, continental b'fast was adequate, garden area was fab, style - very arty. Slightly further out than perhaps we wanted, but taxis are easy to order (thanks to the...

This hostel is one of the most unique places I've been and an attraction in its own right. The staff are lovely and the shisha bar is pretty cool too! And on a Friday there's awesome events behind it which I strongly suggest!

We where there on a rainy day, even then it was a magical place. The area it lays in, is a artistic place:) It reminded us a bit of Berlin. The building itself was interesting, the artists really did a great job. You should do the free tour, they will tell you about the history of the prison en the...

I loved the hospitality of the staff and also loved the stay but there were a few hiccups 1. The shower in room didn't work to expectation 2. The Heating system was not strong enough 3. The room was missing the toiletries But will still recommend people to enjoy their stay there.. as it is a unique experience
