I agree with a previous reviewer that AC would be nice in July and August. I asked for the AC in my room to be turned on and the hotel sent someone up immediately who did so, but it was not AC by American standards, just a tossing around of air. HOWEVER, by opening the doors to the little balcony...

Our stay at the Hotel Piran was very enjoyable. The hotel is made up of three connected buildings, the lobby and reception being in the central, most modern part. The reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful in every respect. Our room was a reasonable size, with nice bathroom. We didn't request a sea view, so our window looked onto...

There are only 2 hotels in Piran: hotel Piran and hotel Tartini. We stayed at the hotel Piran and it's ok. But given the 4 stars, we expected a bit more. For Piran, I would recommend an apartment. That would be much more value for money.

There is nothing between this hotel and the Adriatic except a pedestrian promenade. When you walk into the lobby, it looks as if the hotel is built right on the sea. Walk out of the hotel and jump into the sea. The water here is very salty, and thus makes you very bouyant. Great swimming! My hotel room was clean,...
