HMH is a place where you really feel like at home. It's clean, comfortable, 10 mins walk from the centre and stuff was very friendly and helpful. Especially night receptionist Chris! :) If i decide to come back to Budapest, this is the place I would like to stay again! ;) Thanks!

One thing I like about this hostel is the location. It is placed at a very accessible location, buses are just right infront of the hostels, and metro station is just a 4 minutes walk away. Also, it is very convenient as there are restaurants or supermarket just within 8 minutes walk from the hostel. The other thing that is...

Stayed in a double ensuite room which is a separate apartment next door to the hostel. It was perfect for us. It had a little kitchenette too which was great and the room was really spacious. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with any questions we had. Great location, right near the metro and easy walking distance...

Had our own little 1 bed apartment. Super clean and spacious. Excellent value for money. Good transport links to the airport and really central. About 15mins walk to Jewish quarter and all the bars. Can recommend things to do. 5 mins walk to House of Terror. Would definately stay again

My boyfriend and I stayed for a 6 days and 5 nights at the beginning of August. Even beforehand, the staff were great at quickly responding to any questions we had, e.g. public transport to the hostel (although they do offer a shuttle). We received a warm welcome. We stayed in our own flat which was separate from the hostel...

This small hostel is lovely, felt like a home from home with really friendly and welcoming staff. The decor inside is really original and cool. Particularly impressed with the way the bathrooms were kept clean at all times, and the kitchen facilities were also great. Central location at the Oktogon, it was very easy to find and get to the...

Good looking hostel at Oktogon, one of Pest's major intersections. A lot of attraction and clubs are near to the hostel, so it is very central located. Next to that everything is easy to reach by metro, bus or the tram. The staff is very relaxed and hospitable. The quality/price ratio is very high. All by all I had an...

Street with continuous construction noise and tram. Windows cannot be left open overnight, therefore too hot. Room is crowded, decor and arrangement somewhat resemble to the ghetto of the 40s. Room is double decked and the wooden floor makes a lot of noise too. Definitely cannot get any sleep. Nice staff but cannot compensate.

Staff very welcoming - helped us find closest food shops and cheap cafes. Double room was nice, but right next to kitchen thus noisy. Free towels and hairdryer supplied. Very homey, cosy feeling to hostel. Well-stocked kitchen, with all amenities. €7 for wash and dry clothing. Can buy tickets to Baths at hostel, to dodge the queues. Hungarian cooking class...
