We arrived before the check-in time, but our room was ready. The room was quite small but very comfortable. Breakfast was good. The hotel is in a great location, with everything within walking distance. Food and drink are very cheap in Budapest. I would recommend this hotel.

we booked this hotel through a low cost holiday site and what a good find it was, we were upgraded to a suite (room 112) with out asking the suite was clean and chic, if there was a down side it would be that there was no tea making facility. Hotel was ideal for the centre of Budapest but because...

The Soho was perfect for a few days - comfortable and efficient without being intrusive or fussy. Decent breakfast, 5-bar free WiFi. It's slightly away from the centre (although no more than an extra 10 minutes walk away) and none the worse for that. The centre gets so crowded. There are good bus, tram and metro connection near the hotel...

A great location, easy walking distance to everything and surrounded by ruin bars, pubs and restaurants. The staff were fantastic - friendly, efficient and always on hand to help with anything you needed. The room, although small, was well planned and very clean, with a mini bar, great warmth and comfort. I've stayed in bigger, more salubrious rooms and not...

The staff was very nice and helpful. City center just a few minutes away by Metro line2 or tram. Clean and confortable. Great Breakfast. Good free wifi network. Sound isolation from outside is fine, but we can listen everything from corridor.

My partner and I booked a trip to Budapest for early October, and this gem of a hotel was the perfect place to stay! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location. Surrounded by trendy restaurants, bars, cafe's, vintage shops and about a 30 minute walk away from the Danube and a 10 minute walk away from Dohany Street...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
