The rooms are spacious and clean but nothing special. It has some discreet decoration with some posters. The breakfast was poor and served in a really small kitchen with only two tables considering the amount of people. The internet was really slow and only working in the entrance of the room. After all is ok for what you pay for,...

The hostel was nice and comfortable, great value for money and excellent location. Very nice staff, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good too. Now to the disappointment: In the website it said that we can pay by credit card. In the end of the booking we had the option to choose how to pay and choose credit card. We...

I stayed in a private room at this hostel. The room was quite large and I had to share the bathroom with other private room stayers (there were 3 of us) but that did not prove to be an issue. The bathroom was clean. The room itself was pretty basic - a bed, corner table and wardrobe. The hostel is...

Despite planning our trip a bit late, my partner and I were able to book this place. It turned out to be quite above our expectations. The location is phenomenal, it takes you less than 10 minutes to any metro station or anything else. The room was clean and comfy, the toilets were clean and the bathroom was also okay....

While most boomerangs return, I will not be going back. The towels stank of mould and so did I after realising too late, the wifi did not work, blinds were broken in room so had to tape t-shirts to the window to get privacy from the onlooking windows, breakfast was set up late by staff so only got stale bread,...

Wi-fi was not working in the room, but u can connect in kitchen or they have computer for clients. When we check in they gave...

The hostel location is great. It is right near the metro and bus stations. Also about 10 mins walk to the Chain Bridge. The building is really old and elevator was not always working and there was this bad smell in the building while taking stairs. Stairways is not always lit during the nights and I could not find the...

This hostel is excellent value for money. Slightly hard to find as it is not well advertised but it is in a great location. Staff are very friendly and helped us book our trips to the thermal baths. There is also a very cheap and tasty chinese across the road! The rooms are nice and the kitchen is very clean....

This hostel is in an awesome position: it's close to many sightseeing attractions. The room we were given was huge and also included a kitchen (very convenient if you plan on saving money by cooking your own meals). However, don't expect a brand new hostel. The building is pretty old, but this can't be defined as a negative side, it's...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
