I personally had a very interesting stay at the hostel, although some of the things that happened were not the hostels fault. The people in our room clearly did not understand hostel etiquette and t all hours of the night would turn on the lights and talk at full volume. We had one man come into our room and say...

the room was okay but the beds are not comfy, was struggling to have a good sleep. free breakfast was a big plus there. the location was also amazing, very close to a metro station and many attractions are walking distance from the hostel.

Considering I paid €7.49 which included breakfast I wasn't expecting much. It's a very basic hostel. Bathroom and toilets are in a separate room. It took me a while to find the entrance. The entrance is next door to a restaurant which has the word "Bufe" on a big white sign.

I'm rating the dorm section of the hostel, since there seems to be a separate part of the hostel accommodating the private rooms that might be better. tl;dr: (Pros) very central and good neighborhood, 24h reception, helpful stuff, free coffee all day long, basic breakfast included (Cons) cramped, not so clean, messy and tiny bathrooms, noisy (without earplugs) Our arrival...

The hostel is actually situated on 2 locations: the actual hostel and the apartment suite which is 3 minutes walk from the hostel. The actual hostel has rooms for 4, 6 and 8 people and the apartment suite has private rooms. 2 rooms with a queen-size bed and one "family room" which can accommodate 4 people. The only problem I...

We tried to get into this hostel, without a reservation, but sadley they didn't have any beds left. You'd think that would leave us unsatisfied but the people working at this place were so amazingly nice to us that we only felt extremely sad we weren't able to stay here. The guy who helped us (which might have been the...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
