Well I will say it was an experience, neither good nor bad. We booked through Low costs holidays, who went bust. So we rebooked our superior room directly with the hotel. 2 weeks after returning home I am still trying to work out what was superior about the room. It was clean and big, but sparse. The bathroom had the...

Friendly staff, clean cozy rooms with in style, wide variety for breakfast, the breakfast is served in glass atrium. Walking distance to the historic city centre. Hotel is on quiet street. Would definitely come again and recommend to friends.

Stayed at hotel for a couples weekend break to visit the markets, while the hotel is close to the centre that's about as good as it gets. Reception staff are not very welcoming, rooms are tiny and the hotel lacks atmosphere. Bar staff could do with smiling and some interaction with guests wouldn't go a miss. The Christmas tree in...

I have never written a review that rated anywhere as terrible but I would be lying if I said this hotel was anything more. Attracted by the fact it was a 4 star hotel at a very reasonable price and overall had good reviews we expected to have an enjoyable stay. I had previously read the 1 star reviews and...

We have just returned from a 3 night break in Budapest. The Hotel was in an ideal position just 10 min walk from the Parliament Building. We went to sample the many Christmas markets and were not disappointed, there was a great atmosphere. The Hotel was great. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was ample, although the choice of...

This hotel came as part of a reasonably priced package deal, it was clean and warm, the shower was surprisingly powerful The location was fine we walked each day to the places we visited. We didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful

Really nothing to complain about and good value for the money. Yes for sure not a luxury hotel, but for a few days stay in Budapest it is fine. Fairly central placed . Rooms big with showers having good water pressure. Free internet / wifi in rooms. Breakfast included but nothing special

Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Clean comfortable rooms with friendly helpful staff. No more than a few hundred yards from railway station and the hop on hop off buses also stop in same place. Handy for quick walk to parliament building and riverside walk

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
