We stayed three nights and had a wonderful time. The room was large, clean, and comfortable, with easy access and good security. The hotel staff was excellent, providing help with local information, securing our bags after check-out so we could continue sight-seeing before our train, and available at all times for any questions. Breakfast at their associated cafe was outstanding.

The hotel's entrance is a bit scary, especially the elevator, but when you go up to the hotel on the 3rd floor, you'll find that the hotel is nice, the room is clean, large and quiet. The room price is outstanding. The staff is also very helpful and informative. You can buy a ticket for many baths and concerts in...

The first impressions where interesting as like other reviews it was a bit odd at first with graffiti and slightly dark hallway. But once you get to the reception on the 4th floor it's a complete transformation. Nice and friendly staff and the rooms were spacious and excellent bathrooms. Also it's literally 100 metres right next to the Metro Astoria...

Outstanding value! Although the entry is a bit grotty and makes you wonder what you've let yourself in for, this hotel is all on the 5th floor (take the elevator, the first 2 floors aren't counted in the numbering system) and has been completely redone in great style. Everything was new, clean, well serviced and very comfortable. For 30 euros,...

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
