The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the lobby and the the gallery is 10/10 for design. The hotel also got two courtyards where you can relax and a great rooftop wellness area with two saunas, a jacuzzi, gym and two pools. Also got sunbeds for enjoying the lovely Budapest weather. Mind you, enjoying the wellness area is 8euro per day. Brekkie...

We stayed for 2 nights and have to say it is an outstanding hotel. It is modern and in a great location, close to a great selection of bars and restaurants. Rooms were quiet and comfortable and the staff were excellent. The spa facilities are a welcome treat and would not hesitate to book again, if I returned to Budapest. Great...

We arranged direct with the hotel to be collected at the airport and this all ran smoothly as did our check in. The hotel is beautiful with an old spa feel but with modern bedrooms, our room was lovely and had everything we needed and the shower was excellent. Unfortunately it rained whilst we were there so were unable to...

Stayed for 5 nights in beautiful Budapest. The hotel is on the Pest side of the bridge where most of the attractions are. We were allocated a standard room, which was clean, with free safe, fridge and free toiletries. The rooms were advertised as being soundproof and they certainly were, we heard nothing from up, below or next door to...

Dear Cherry322, Thank you very much for your rather long stay! It was good to read that you had so much fun in Budapest. You did definitely the same what I would do as a tourist in this city. I hope you will come again, and you will continue the tracing with our assistance. Kindest regards,

The Zara is a beautiful old spa that has been converted to a modern hotel. The public areas are really interesting architecturally and well finished so on first impressions the hotel is great. However on closer inspection things aren't quite so good hence the 3 stars. The major thing that is wrong with Zara is its total lack of charm....

So myself & my husband stayed in this hotel for a weekend break to celebrate both of our 40th birthdays. Like a lot of couples, we don't often go away and if we do, the kids are with us so a weekend by ourselves is a real, rare treat. Because of this, I emailed in advance for various reasons, one...

Nice stay a little small but overall as long as it's clean I'm good. Breakfast was good eggs bacon fruits. people were helpful. And 10 min walk from the Charles Bridge. If you want to be closer to the river, Sofitel, intercontinental are right there.

Excellent hotel really centrally situated. About 15 mins walk from the river and about 10 mins from Heroes square. Gorgeous inside and rooms are a decent size. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
