So myself & my husband stayed in this hotel for a weekend break to celebrate both of our 40th birthdays. Like a lot of couples, we don't often go away and if we do, the kids are with us so a weekend by ourselves is a real, rare treat. Because of this, I emailed in advance for various reasons, one...

After we disapoined in one of Budapests hotels, we goes for a ride to Salzburg and Vienna, then we came back for one night, the hotel was excelent. But the reception does some problems with the reservation. But in the bottom line the hotel was good with excellent location

Nice stay a little small but overall as long as it's clean I'm good. Breakfast was good eggs bacon fruits. people were helpful. And 10 min walk from the Charles Bridge. If you want to be closer to the river, Sofitel, intercontinental are right there.

Excellent hotel really centrally situated. About 15 mins walk from the river and about 10 mins from Heroes square. Gorgeous inside and rooms are a decent size. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Lovely pizza place just on the corner... We didn't eat in the hotel at any stage so can't comment on the food but would highly recommend the...

The hotel is only about 5 years old, built around the facade of an old Hungarian spa. We stayed on the 6th floor at the back which was quiet, clean and comfortable. The shower was small but overall a pleasant place to stay. The free wifi worked well and the other amenities fulfilled all our needs. A very good buffet...

I came here with my partner for a 5 day city break to Budapest. Zara is a gorgeous immaculate peaceful hotel, hidden away enough to be feel slightly rural but just a 2 or 3 minute walk off the roads of the hustle and bustle of Dohany. Vaci Street, which is perfect for shopping or lunch, or both, has high...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
