Myself and three friends stayed at this hotel in December. One of our rooms was better than the other. One was clean, fresh and tidy when we checked in, the other hadn't been cleaned so well. We faced onto the front of the hotel - it's a side street but the little shops opposite had illuminated signs, which unfortunately shone...

I came with my boyfriend for the Christmas markets. We stayed in the hotel as it was part of an Easyjet package deal. The hotel was okay, but nothing special - I wouldn't have thought it was 4 stars. The rooms were similar to ones in a travel lodge/premier Inn so not very personal or possessing much character but the...

We got a fine and clean room, with excellent pocket wifi service. We however had to share breakfast table all the time, as the breakfast venue is very small and there were a lot of people. The location is also a bit away from the center, though on the fair side it is close to Keleti station and you can...

A very clean and welcoming hotel, with helpful staff. On the day of our departure the taxi booked through the travel agent did not arrive and the hotel arranged for their own taxi to take us to the airport at very short notice. The hotel was exceptionally good value and the breakfast really varied although the breakfast room is quite...

A friend and I stayed for 4 nights from 27 November 2016 in a twin room. We booked a transfer from the airport in advance through the hotel. This worked very well and as soon as the driver dropped us at the hotel, we were checked in. The check in was smooth and the reception staff friendly, polite and efficient,...

This hotel is amazing, I'd recommend to anyone wanting to come to Budapest! For the price I payed I was expecting a nasty looking hotel but when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. I was also given a free bottle of wine in my room. Everything outside and inside is extremely modern, the staff are very helpful and friendly. I...

We arrived on Sunday 11th December, the hotel was warm and welcoming, quick check in and straight up to our room on the top floor, 6. Staff were extremely helpful and spoke brilliant English. Room was spacious and clean, bathroom was very clean, fresh towels everyday, room tidied and cleaned daily. Only thing we weren't expecting was 2 single duvets...

This is a small boutique hotel, located near the train station, about 20 to 30 minute walk from the centre of Budapest (Pest side), The rooms are well appointed for a hotel of this size, TV has 2 English channels (but wasn't there to watch the tv!), small bathroom with a great shower. Room also has mini bar and safe....

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in December, room was a bit small but quiet and modern. Interesting design of a hotel. Breakfast was very good, the only thing I missed was yogurt but other than that there was plenty of stuff with good variety of Hungarian salads and sweets. Breakfast area could get crowded on some mornings and...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
