We have just returned from a lovely break in Budapest. Hotel was definitely a 4 star. Great room and very clean. Breakfast very good too. The bar and staff very accommodating. Couldn't fault anything. Went to some good restaurants and didn't have one awful meal. On our last ight we took a cruise on the Danube with a 4 course...

We booked this 'four star' hotel but we're not convinced it met the standard. We booked an airport transfer through the hotel but when we landed the driver was no where to be seen. We queued for a cab, and when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist basically told us off for not using the cab. She didn't seem...

Very busy hotel. The room was good, clean & facilities were what you would expect. Breakfast was also excellent, with a good choice. Front desk was quite helpful & staff were generally very pleasant. The only downer on our stay was that the fire alarm was set-off in the middle of the night, & there was no reply from the...

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Royal Park Budapest. My boyfriend and I had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend to you if you find yourself in this city. The hotel is located just off a main road and is a stones throw from Keleti pályaudvar station. There is also many bus connections that stop on the...

This hotel was clean and the staff very helpful. our standard room was plenty big enough, good size shower room with walk in shower and a hair dryer but no charger for a shaver or toothbrush. There was a mini bar and a safe in the room. One of the tour busses stops just along the road opposite the station...

This hotel is about a 20 minute walk away from the centre of Pest, however it is literally over the road from a station. It is very clean, staff are friendly and has a good selection for breakfast. Would go back there, we had a lovely stay.

The Royal park boutique hotel was excellent for our 3 night stay in Budapest, we had a basic room that was spotless, with mini bar /fridge. Although we had no coffee or tea making facilities these were available in superior room at extra cost. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The buffet breakfast was good with ample choice. The...

The hotel is situated very close to the Keleti Railway Terminal & Metro line, I found the location as pretty good. Most things you may need are close by, supermarket/change bureau/bus stops etc. The staff were very helpful and spoke a good level of English, plus directed me to anything close which I asked for. The room was comfortable with...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
