We had a very pleasant stay just over Christmas here. I had a lot of requests on arrival after reading some of the comments here. A lovely lady, Annett was very accommodating and said we can have an upgrade. The 5th floor apartment was facing an inner courtyard and was so quiet, spacious with so much storage for our belongings....

I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 sisters and it was incredibly spacious. We had a corner apartment with huge glass windows, a well equipped kitchenette, a dining table to seat 8, a large lounge area, washing machine, 2 generous bedrooms and a small bathroom. We faced a busy road which made for interesting people watching, but...

Room i stayed was good sized, had all necessary equipment. Only 2-3 non-hungarian channels on TV. Wifi kept giving regular problem. Location is excellent. Service is very bad. Typical response time for anything is more than 3 hours.

The plusses : 😊 huge bed, plenty of space in the apartment, facilities were everything we needed for a 6 day break, washing machine with access to a free dryer, microwave, crockery/cutlery, toaster and a dishwasher. Minuses 😐 having a room on the 1st floor and the fact that it was facing the street as opposed to one of the...

We stayed in a 5 stars luxury hotel in a three-rooms apartment and I am not satisfied... 1) It was very cold everywhere. We couldn't rise the temperature up in the room (there was only a conditioner). I used my husbands' trousers to thaw. It was very cold in a lobby during the breakfast. Main doors have been opened and...

Check in was appalling!!!!! Because I didn't bring the credit card I paid with (not that I was ever told to do this). Apparently, I may have stolen the credit card!! I'm not sure I'd risk paying for a holiday on a stolen card then turn up for said holiday two months later. Due to this, they'd need to reserve...

A beautiful hotel situated in the heart of Budapest. 20 minute walk from all the beautiful architecture and museums. Reasonably priced and beautiful rooms. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Plan to visit again and stay at this exact hotel!

Boscolo is an excellent 5 star hotel with wonderful quality suites. Large and warm apartment type rooms with very good support staffs. Hotel also provides good breakfast and also all day menus. It is centrally located and quite close all the amenities. Me and my wife enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to come back again in future. Recommended...

My friends and I stayed here for a few days and it was everything we could want. The room was spotless, the staff was very friendly and spoke English fairly well. The location was very close to the rail and plenty of other things to do were within a few minutes of walking distance, highly recommend staying here.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
