If you are visiting Budapest for a city break or business and are happy to eat out or self cater this is perfect. Spacious rooms with good facilities, modern and clean. Central location so easy to get around the city. Friendly staff. Only downside is the breakfast is a bit lacking in choice/space to sit and eat so I ate...

Staying here gives you a "rented home" experience in a historic area with complete modern interior renovations and comfort. The location is central, the front desk know you, and they have great internet, cappuccino/latte on level one, and laundry services. I love the space and separation so you do not feel like you are in a hotel room and housekeeping...

I didn't know what to expect when booking this hotel for my boyfriends birthday surprise. We arrived late in the evening, closer to midnight, and the man working in the reception was wonderful. He helped us point out the location on a map and then showed us the best places to walk around / shop / eat etc. The appartment...

Central luxurious hotel. Spotlessly clean rooms, spa and pool clean and staff exceptionally good. Breakfast excellent and great selection of food. Dined in NewYork cafe/restaurant in hotel a bit expensive and limited selection of food.

Our room upon arrival overlooked the main which was very noisy and we could not rest that evening. However when we asked for a quieter room at reception this was rectified straight away. We were given an upgrade and the apartment was spacious and quiet.

Had a great apartment with large living area and bedroom area. TVs in both areas was a great bonus. Having a fridge was useful with a supermarket around the corner. This was my first time to Budapest so cant compare with any other accommodation but would recommend the Boscollo Residences. Metro is just around the corner, literally.

When I reserved the room there was option to ask for a quiet room and when I arrived I was given a quiet room. So right off the bat everything was going well. Room had a kitchenette and proper half-sized refrigerator. My only complaint about the room was the loud bathroom fan. (It switches on some time after you put...

Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, close to the city center and easily accesible. A great place to stay in total. The only 2 minor down sides are the low shower head pressure and the fact that there wasn't a kettle in the room.

I have mixed feelings about the Boscolo residence. The whole booking process was a nightmare. We were making a relatively late booking for New Year and as the apartments showed no availability on any of the normal booking sites we contacted them directly. Yes they had availability. However, they wanted me to fill in a declaration form and fax it...

Dear Valued Guest ’Dave H’, I would like to thank you very much for commenting on Boscolo Residence. At the same time I was disappointed to read that the services of our Front Desk and our Housekeeping department was not satisfactory for you. All of our colleagues work hard to provide impeccable service, although it seems we fell short of...

The Boscolo Residence is part of the Boscolo hotel complex which includes the famous New York cafe. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the town centre. It also has a Hop On Hop Off tourist bus stop very close by. Hot complimentary drinks are available in the lobby. The rooms were clean, with a large bathroom and a very...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
