I stayed at the “new” Butterfly Home B&B location from May 5th to May 15th. For one reason or the other, my evaluation has been delayed until today. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the B&B and there is nothing that could have made it...More
Excellent location. Walking distance to much of the area that you'll want to see in Budapest. 1 1/2 block walk to Oktogon metro station; take it 4 or 5 stops up to the to the famous Széchenyi Spa. Oktogon is also a stop of the...More
It seems that what used to be the Butterfly Home B&B has now moved from Kepiro utca 3 into Fővám tér 2-3 (you could see all the details on another famous hotel "booking" site).
Nonetheless, this new Butterfly Home B&B is really gorgeous, fully renovated...More
large rooms, very good breakfasts, staff with excellent knowledge and recommendations (and great English) - what else could you want? It's not a luxury hotel but it's incredibly convenient (near the river and market), very clean, and felt like home.

Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.

Hi Sorry it has been so long in responding but I had not entered trip advisor in quite a while. Don't know if you still need to know, but when you reserve with them you can ask them to have a car pick you up. They wait for you with a sign. Taxis are a bit corrupt there so I wouldn't try that. Arrived at night and had no desire for public transport after a very long long trip. Car service was affordable, about $20-25 USD.
