K9 Residence is located near the lively nightlife area of Budapest where you will find plenty of good value eateries. It is also convenient for all central Budapest attractions. K9 has clean simple accommodation without room service. If you need fancy drapes and carpets K9 Residence is not for you.

Booked 5 rooms here in August and was not disappointed. The location is terrific, the staff very accommodating and the rooms well appointed. You can walk almost anywhere from here including to the Danube. The apartments are surrounded by restaurants, bars and there is a supermarket right next door. Fantastic value for money!

We spent 4 nights there coming off a river cruise and found the hotel perfect for our needs. Fast, friendly check in led us to what might appear as spartan rooms but they are a good size, air conditioned, lacked for nothing and had a small kitchenette which let us prepare our own breakfasts. The hotel has free WiFi and...

We stayed here for 4 nights and paid a bargain of €65 a night. The location is great. Very central with lots in walking distance. The staff are all very friendly and efficient. Always greeting us as we were entering and leaving. And whenever we asked for anything they dealt with it right away. The room itself is very basic....

This apartment cost around £37 per night which is incredible value. The location was fantastic with a supermarket next door with plenty of choice even fresh bread. As soon as I booked online I was sent an email offering taxi service from the airport which we didn't need. On arrival at 12pm we were able to check in and go...

The location is perfect 3/5 min walk from city centre, hop on...

An apartment very well located: near the subway, bus stops, restaurants and bars, grocery stores and various other stores. Modern and comfortable, the room in which we were housed possessed a well-equipped kitchenette, TV, air conditioning, wi-fi, good soundproofing window overlooking the main avenue, an area of dining and another area to be. Very good price-quality ratio. The reception staff...

Odd name for a hotel, but it was fine and for the budget conscious it is well worth considering. Spent one night midweek after trekking around the city looking for suitable place to spend the evening after a train trip up from Kecskemet. The cost was about $A75 for a double and for that money it was excellent value. Spacious...

Quite a decent hotel, not flash but clean and comfortable. Small kitchen area, ok bathroom. This hotel is on a main road so the traffic noise was noticeable despite double glazing. The air conditioner worked well. It is in a terrific location, right next to the Jewish area which is great for food and an easy walk into the city...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
