We spent 3 nights in this hostel. We barely saw people of the staff (although we knew when they'd be there, by a plate on the desk). The interior is very nice. We had the room next to the kitchen but had no problems with noise. Very good deal for a good price!

My partner and I stayed recently in the private room with its own en suite. Whilst this place may work perfectly well as a hostel it wasn't good for a private room. Pros: - Amazing location. Literally 1 minute walk from a central metro station. - Really friendly staff, a nice warm welcome. - The room itself was a good...

We are really sorry about the cold! We have an extra heating in the bathroom just for our guests in the Honeymoon. In addition an extra one at the reception if you need more heat. We have also a double cover, as guests prefer single ones we use those, but of course if a guest requires a double one we...

Hister hostel Budapest is the cutest hostel I've ever stayed in. Staff is cool, friendly and funny (Torey made us go out even we were tired :D ). Room was big and clean, with sheets and towels. Other facilities are very good also. Location is great. One minute from the metro and 15 minutes from the city centre by walk....

This hostel is located 2 minutes from a metro station and a 15 minute walk from the centre of Budapest. All in all it is a small hostel and therefore feels different to other hostels, but the staff and other guests are friendly. We loved our stay there!

Just what I need for my one night stay - a clean, safe, inexpensive room, 3-5 minutes from Kalvin ter underground station with free WiFi. This is not a fancy hotel by any means, but if you're like me then you will be happy with 4 walls, a ceiling and a clean bathroom. This is a step up from normal...

Positives: The hostel was nice and clean, staff was helpful, kitchen has dishes and cutlery, location is near metro station Negatives: with 10 people in one room the air got really bad over night and there is no ventilation or air-conditioner to compensate for it Result: it is a really good place for visiting Budapest for a few nights

Very nice, full equipped, two bathrooms, one of that very big, clean and very quiet. The location is good and you have a tobacco store and a 24h market on the next door. The best thing for me is the building, the hostel is one flat of an old-fashioned building. I recommend ;)

I have to say, I think this is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. It really feels like home. We were lucky enough to share the 2 couple dorm. The staff are super friendly, the hostel is really clean, the people staying in the hostel are now our new mates, its close to everything, there is really great...

The staff were helpful and friendly and good fun. It attracted fantastic guests. The facilities were great. The wifi was good and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need to cook whatever. Stay here, just do it.

Had a very good experience at the Hipster Hostel. It was in a good location for transport, was easy to find, friendly staff and looked great. We stayed in the Candy Dorm (4 bed) which was really nice. It was fairly small but the space was used very well. Only slight down point was that noise from the kitchen was...
