For the price tag Bazar Hostel is pretty good. The location was great, the rooms were warm, quiet, large and included lockers, the common room had a really great vibe, the kitchen was well equipped and the staff were friendly which were all positives but there were negatives as well. Cleanliness was an issue with bathrooms always appearing a bit...

Bazar hostel is located in the heart of Budapest, on the Pest side, and is close to clubs and bars as well as near the sights. Even though it is close to a big street, you cannot hear any traffic and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is super nice; fully stocked kitchen along with cozy chill-out area is...

The place itself, the idea, stuff and common room is exceptional! But... the rooms and bathrooms were quite dirty, our Spanish roommates not taking shower every day didn't really help with keeping the place nice. Fine, if you're not afraid of some spiders :-)

The hostel is very small and homely. It is located right at the center of everything: the young hipster area, the going out area and in walking distance to the shopping area and the Donau. It is cozy and clean, has free tea and coffee and

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
