Really nice facility in a good location-- near many things but still quiet at night. The breakfast was okay--- eggs, bacon-- and they even made me a fried egg the day they had hard boiled. Rooms clean and updated-- but we were there during a weather change-- AC had not been turned on, and my room was SO HOT in...

Stayed for 4 nights for our 25th anniversary and enjoyed every minute. Staff are warm, friendly, professional and very helpful. Hotel was spotless, maids friendly and efficient. Breakfast is superb, tasty and plenty of variety. Coffee lounge is a lovely bonus, providing free beverages during the day. Located in a quiet area but a short stroll to all this wonderful...

Great location of the hotel - it's right next to the Danube River and 5-7 minutes walking distance from two subway stations (and two different lines). There are several coffee shops, mini stores and currency exchange booths (with quite reasonable exchange rates) around. The hotel is cozy and very home-style. It has an absolutely amazing stuff - friendly people, who...

I stayed here for 5 nights in March. The staff were friendly and professional. Our room, which was on the 4th floor, was spacious and clean. The breakfast provided was great. The selection was fantastic and they constantly refilled/replaced etc throughout the breakfast sitting. The location was good and lots of attractions were in easy walking distance. I would happily...

Located off the main strip of Budapest but all transport links to shops and attractions are in walking distances and are feet away and apart and includes the metro underground, trams, buses and taxi ranks. Room was modern and comfy, with all the mod cons and every member of staff was polite and helpful and make you feel so welcome....

This hotel and its staff can be very proud of themselves. From the warm welcome to the easy check-in to the helpful and friendly restaurant staff, this establishment is fantastic value. The breakfast is well worth the investment too with a wide selection of cold meats, cereals and also some cooked options like bacon, scrambled eggs etc so there is...

A really friendly hotel, nice rooms, quiet location but handy for everywhere. Would definitely come again. Recommend Hop on Hop of buses, best way to see a lot of Budapest if time is short. Plenty of friendly bars and eateries all close by

This hotel is in a great location - easy to walk to many downtown locations and steps from the metro and streetcar. It's on a very quiet street, but the noise from the hallway carried into my room (not a huge issue). Booked a single but got a double room which was a reasonable size and clean. The breakfast was...

We shared a room between four and although it was quite small it was clean and comfortable and all we needed! Good location, quiet street but walking distance to the center. Tasty breakfast and very helpful staff all for a more than reasonable price. Would recommend!

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
