Fantastic room overlooking the Danube. Most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Plenty of space and all the facilities you would need. Great staff. Lovely breakfasts. Not the nicest looking hotel from the outside, but great inside.

The hotel is not much to look at from the outside, but from the inside looking out, it's perfect. Our view of the Danube was stunning day and night. The executive lounge balcony has the best view in the city. The rooms were nice, clean and quiet. No bathtub and the shampoo, etc are not high end. The towels are...

Located in the center of Budapest with an extremely nice view of the Danube river the "Chain bridge" and the Palace of Arts. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is quite friendly. It is nothing more or less than what you would expect from a Marriot. I will definitely stay here in the future as well.

This hotel has the best view overlooking the castle, Fisherman's Bastion and the chain bridge. I would recommend getting lounge access as you get to see the city from the 12th floor and there are amazing views. Plus food and drinks are provided all day with alcoholic beverages being provided from 5:30-9:30pm. The service in the lounge is good and...

My husband and I spent 5 nights at Budapest Marriott in March 2017. It was our first time there and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel was centrally located making it very easy to get around and truly experience Budapest. Every major attraction was a walk away. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodated most of our extra requests. At...

Good placed, on the Danube, hotel have a great view. Helpful staff, large rooms and common areas. Breakfast and restaurant food is very tasty. In the hotel's cafe especially I recommend cakes. Check-in and out was organized professional and quick.

The hotel is very luxury, with large rooms and common areas, and is exceptionally located- Breakfast is super. The view on the Danube is very romantic. The only disappointment is that wifi is not free, which is surprising in such an hotel.

Hotel is well placed and easy to get to. Somewhat dated but friendly and clean. For me, the Executive Lounge has the most wonderful breakfast and best view in the City. Overlooking the Danube and large enough to accommodate the evening crowd. One drawback is that the lounge balcony overlooks many of the guest rooms so if you enjoy wandering...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
