Hotel Budapest can be rated as average 3 star hotel, definitely not a 4 star hotel, not even very good 3 star hotel. It is old, it has this soviet communistic style. You can see that the same minute you enter hotel. Staff is excellent, friendly and helpful, but everything else not. Rooms on the lower floor has damaged and...

The good: the breakfast was rich with choice and generally very good. The view from the room was awesome. The bad: The furniture was old and overall worn down, the carpets were dirty (more like really old than not cleaned well - you can clean as good as you want but the age will show). The one thing that I...

This is an average hotel good for a short stay. I came on business and choose it became it was close to the office I needed to visit. I got a room on the 10th floor in a nonsmoking area. The room had an old style furniture and old TV, average cleanness of the room and shower was a bit...

We had a great time, and enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. As well as the tram, the hotel is on the cog railway, which is worth taking to see a different aspect of Buda. You have to take a thermal bath !

This hotel is built in 1967. This is was most modern, and highest building in Budapest. Modernities went, highest stayed. The experiencevanished. But it's worth a night and a dawn to be here, because beautiful sunrise over the city. Any other time travel here...

The rest of it was awful the staff were rude to the point of comedic like we were...

This hotel is used mainly by tour groups and could be too busy. I've stayed 4 or 5 times already, so I could summarize the following: - Should you see 4-5-6 coaches in the parking expect over the top busy breakfast hall and long time waiting for the lifts in the morning. If there is a way that you go...

Dinner service is not avaliable at 6.30 pm. Their monetary exchange is cruel. When 1 euro was equal 310 huf, they echanges 200 huf. If you are thinking of staying in Budapest, never think Hotel Budapest.

Dear Sarp, You cannot imagine how sorry we are to hear that your recent experience staying at our hotel was not good at all.
