A last minute booking, don't let the price fool you! It's a lovely hotel, rooms are exceptional, clean, and not a bad view from the room at all. Easy access to the town, HUGE shopping centre within 5 minute bus ride. Would 100% stay again

I stayed in this hotel 21 years ago, so when we planned to go to Budapest, booked in here again. It has not changed much since my previous visit. The hotel is very convenient for trams, bus and metro, and within walking distance of sights. We had rooms on 10th floor. There are two lifts. There is a 'fridge and...

Hotel is ok for short stay. There's free WiFi in entire hotel, which is great. I didn't like physical keys and paper registration. Hotel is not new :) and you can notice it almost everywhere (it has old style).

Considering the cheap price the hotel was great. Everything was clean and the staff was nice. The only thing that was extremely annoying were the two elevators, they are not sufficient for the amount of rooms they have. You can easily lose 20 minutes in the morning waiting for the elevator to take you downstairs to the breakfast area.

This hotel is reasonably priced and convenient for public transport. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and room was a decent size but in desperate need of attention. The handle on one of the windows in my room (1108) was missing and the window would not stay closed. I had to wedge it shut with tissue...

We stayed for a night during our eastern Europe trip. Room had all basic amenities. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good with personal attention. View of the city is great from 15th floor. Tram /Bus Stn. is just opposite the hotel.

Generally a good stay. I was travelling alone and was given a room on the 11th floor....not shown to my room just given key...room was fine, clean, with nice views of Buda. I found some of the older members of staff grumpy and surly and not at all welcoming. I was told to move from the dining room as it...

And its almost breaking my heart, but: Hotel Budapest lost that all (ok still the nice view towards the parlament is available if in a room xx16...xx20). Now days every evening ~10is busses are dropping travel groups that totaly overload the entrance area, stuff...
