First class from check in to check out. Kempinski Hotel chain are superior hotels. Excellent in quality, service and atmosphere. Expresso coffee maker in room. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Going back this year in December.

We stayed at the Kempinski Budapest for a long weekend as part of my girlfriend's birthday celebrations. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The rooms were well decorated, very comfortable and a good size. I cannot fault this hotel and would thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for a hotel while staying in...

Very good localization, but stops there. Small room. And when we arrived, around 10 PM, there was no concierge any more. The attendant of reception has indicated one place to eat that was closed and we didn't dinner that night

Very central location close to everything, a quiet place; very clean, nice big rooms, a very well equipped fitness, a nice spa; very helpful wonderful staff, courteous and competent service, we had a little problem that was solved with highest attendance and were offered some extras in compensation for a hotel’s room service imperfection, we will definitely come back to...

The hotel is in a very convenient location in the city center. You can walk around the city without using transport. Probably we got not the most convenient room. There are claims to bed, bathroom. Breakfast did not like, the quality of some dishes disappointed.

This is a high quality luxury hotel. The room was beautiful and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding so cozy. Location is perfect, walking distance to all the sights, restaurants and cafes. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was worth the extra dollars staying in this hotel. Highly recommended.

Stayed in the hotel for 3 days. Located in the heart of Pest near to the main pedestrian shopping zone and metro station. Not by the river, but it's location is most practical. Spacious rooms, pillows could be a bit more comfortable, big comfortable bathroom, a modern hotel. Quite enough even though in the city centre. Inside the hotel are...

Stayed for few nights on business trip during September. The hotel is old but very well maintained. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I felt very appreciated during my stay. The room space is quite good and the location is not bad at all. Only bad incident I had with my breakfast as they couldn't arrange good table...

I stayed here for a couple days on a business trip. The hotel is a bit dated, but decent. I absolutely loved the breakfast, which was one of the best I had in a long time. The location is good and convenient for a stroll around the city.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
