Hotel is quite beautiful, well appointed and very comfortable. Room was very nice, with turn-down service every night. Upon arrival, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming (and efficient). The location of the hotel is perfect. Quick access to all major points of interest and public transportation. Breakfast was an incredible spread and left very little to the...

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. It is perfectly situated for visiting the city and very close to the Hop on Hop off busses which we used to get around and thoroughly recommend. The hotel itself is very modern and the level of service exceptional. We travel light so use the laundry service when on...

Stayed here for five nights. The hotel has a great staff, very friendly and helpful. The location cannot be beat. The room was fine, clean and comfortable. No view at all. We were staying here at the beginning of a cruise and didn't have much say in the room selection. My only complaint is lack of storage in the bedroom...

Great room, really helpful concierge who advised on tailor made activities and phoned to make all the bookings. Perfect location in Pest close to the chain bridge and with a square close by where we enjoyed beer, sausage and music. We made the most of the spa facilities but what makes this place absolutely stand-out is the breakfast. Quite simply...

Excellent staff, wonderful service, the rooms were extremely comfortable. Upon check in staff were very attentive and ensured we had a room with a great view over looking the cathedral. The various outlets of the hotel were great along with the facilities available to guests. Would highly recommend this hotel to any friends or family going to Budapest.

The hotel is in a central location and provides easy access to the shopping district as well as to the Danube and the Chain Bridge. There is a very nice square very close to the Bank of China and you can witness some nice live music in the late evenings while drinking a beer and eat some local food. The...

Overall, this hotel was a very good choice in that it contributed much to the enjoyment of our stay in Budapest. The Kempinski is not a charming boutique hotel but is very modern, stylish and clean.. Our room was spacious and spotless, facing the park with a fantastic view! (You must get a park view room; it makes a big...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
