We booked after the exceptional experiences we have had at other intercontinental locations . This hotel in Budapest apart from the views overlooking the Buda castle and historic Chain Bridge and Danube River was average. The concierge were great and service was friendly and functional without being special. The fact that this is a business hotel might explain my low...

Yes, all the niceties and stuff you can expect. View? Yes, spectacular. Location? Yes, close to everywhere you want to go and what you want to see. Quality? Good, everything...

Budapest is a great place to visit. I came from Austria by car and we drove in at night. I've probably never seen such a nice lighted city along the Danube like Budapest. Back to the hotel. Try to get a front view to the Danube. In the room you've kind of a day bed with an amazing view to...

My wife & I spent 2 nights at this hotel. As IHG Platinum Ambassador, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Room with views overlooking the Danube and Chain Bridge and Buda Castle. Great location in the centre of Budapest, walking distance to the parliament, Castle Hill and shopping streets. Service was excellent and the view from the room spectacular. Only slightly negative aspect of the hotel was outdated furniture in the rooms, nothing major but the interior would need an upgrade to maintain the 5 start status

Stayed in this fabulous hotel post-river cruise. Easy walking to the funicular and Fishermen's Bastion. Fabulous Al Fresco dining with the best Hungarian goulash soup I ever tasted. Beautiful in the evening when the bridge is all lit up. Twenty minutes walk to the covered market.

I stayed here for two nights whilst in the country for my company sales conference. This hotel keeps up with some of the best that I have stayed in. It certainly represents the Intercontinental brand very well! Staff were attentive and helpful upon check-in. Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
