I will never forget this trip. The Gresham Four Seasons is the perfect honeymoon destination. Don't forget the afternoon Herend tea. Make sure you see a the orchestra at Saint Stevens Basilica. The river view rooms with a balcony was the nicest room I have ever stayed in.

This is the finest facility I have ever had the opportunity to stay in. First class staff and concierge. The guide recommended by the staff gave us a wonderful two days touring Budapest. The City itself is a great surprise and value - extremely clean and safe. The breakfast buffet is beyond excellent. All in all a 5 Star plus...

I usually plan our itinerary when we travel but I just wasn't up to it this time and so I asked the concierge to do everything. And he did! All we had to do was to show up. As well, the concierge was very helpful when a number of medical issues had to be taken care of. We used the...

This luxurious property overlooks the Szechenyi Chain Bridge which is suspended over the River Danube in the capital of Hungary. The lobby of this palace is breathtaking. Our suite had a spectacular view of this famed architectural symbol of advancement. The service was superb and the food was outstanding. A perfect experience.

Couldn't recommend it more highly. The staff took the extra step of finding out for me where the very beautiful blue marble tiles used in the ladies' Spa had come from. The Concierge was very helpful, as were the staff at the front desk. The restoration of this hotel is a triumph.

From the first step into this fabulous hotel we were treated like Royalty. Our room was amazingly comfortable, the food was out of this world and the Martini's in the bar were perfect. The breakfast was an elaborate array of fine foods and absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable. Overall the hotel was the best on our trip. Budapest is...

This is an extraordinary hotel. According to tour guides, the best in Budapest. Five Star without a doubt. Concierge was perfect, the doormen were knowledgable. Best beds ever and the restaurant was 5 star as well. We had dinner and breakfast there. This hotel is across the street from the Chain Bridge and in the heart of the city walking...

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Always feel comfortable and the staff are very friendly. I travel to Budapest regularly and this is one of my favourite hotels to stay in Budapest. The quality received for the price paid is really impressive, both within the Budapest market and particularly in comparison to Western Europe and the US.

Location of this 4S is perfect, and the building itself is simply amazing. I love to stay in historical hotels, and Gresham palace for sure would be an awesome choice. I had a quick bite to skip a rainy hour, and everything from food to seating to staff was impeccable. Had a great service and answers to all my Qs...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
