Location of this 4S is perfect, and the building itself is simply amazing. I love to stay in historical hotels, and Gresham palace for sure would be an awesome choice. I had a quick bite to skip a rainy hour, and everything from food to seating to staff was impeccable. Had a great service and answers to all my Qs...

Very friendly staff. Their attention to detail was outstanding. The turn down evening service included moving shoes to the side of the room, putting a hotel book mark in an open book, tying up an electronic cord, putting a personalised note in the bathroom advising us of the weather forecast for the next day as well as the usual things...

As soon as you walk into The Four Seasons - Gresham Palace, you know that you have come to a truly very special place. I felt like I was walking into another century. And truthfully, I was. The ironwork alone is just a marvel. Loved the iron sculptures in the lobby along with the beautiful vases filled with orchids. The...

We went there for high tea and had a chance to look at one of the rooms. The tea is served in the lobby. There weren't many guests, but the atmosphere was pleasant and the food standard. The Room we saw was quite small, but had a nice spacious bathroom. All in all it is one of the best in...

Wow! I always expect perfection from a Four Seasons, and the Gresham Palace location certainly did not disappoint. Although a large chain, this hotel has a very boutique feel, perhaps because it is so rich in a history (a restored palace). The rooms are pristine and the lobby isn't to be believed. The breakfast has plenty of options and the...

This incredible hotel is not only the best hotel in Budapest but perhaps the best hotel in the world. The spaces like Oz are decorated to such perfection that obviously has to have an owner like the Government of Oman to endow. Drop dead public spaces, two of the most beautiful bars anywhere, super friendly staff and luxe bedrooms and...

Well situated on the Danube River over looking Buda and all it has to offer. Palace and castle area. Very close to Parliment Building, Opera House and many other Pest locations. Highly recommend the hotel.

Its time for an update, the building itself is lovely but the hallways, carpeting , bathrooms are ready to be new again. Housekeeping lacked attention to detail Value for overall experience not up to par. Horrible free internet service.

You really can't go wrong with any Four Seasons hotel. The Gresham Palace does not disappoint. The rooms are lovely, the food is fabulous and the service is impeccable. We had a room with a small balcony looking out over the Danube, with Budapest Castle and St. Matthias church. Ask for one with this view......it is stunning. And, of course,...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
