Loved staying at this hotel and after a bit rough first encounter everything turned out for the better. Cosy rooms and a cool lobby are a plus. I didn't have breakfast, but the little coffee and tea selection were superb.

I am really very glad to stay in this hotel. When I traveling to Budapest I always used this hotel. Breakfast is very nice with a large selection of dishes. Very nice hospitality. Rooms are clean. Everything what you need you can find in this hotel.

The hotel is probably a low 3 star (pretending to be a 4 star) and is inexpensive. The staff, especially on reception, are surly. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room but I had to ask for some ordinary tea (not fruit) and just got more fruit tea and I asked for some proper milk and just got... More

I have booked room by booking. com, type of room should be superior, but I received economy room ( it is awful - never book this one ). After coming back to reception and quick discussion with reception finally I received proper tyope of room. Superior room is comfortable, breakfast are good. Hotel crew is polite.

The staff is so friendly and helping. The location is near the metro and bus stations. and the value for money is very good. It is the biggest hotel in Budapest. The breakfast is nice, the rooms aren't so big but comfortable. A bit old equipment but clean and nice

This hotel is classed as 4 star but lacks in the finishing touches to allocate 4 and is situated at the side of a main road which is busy 24/7 Very clean large hotel in a "goodish" location. Very near the main railway station which is handy to take the express train to Vienna. The beautiful river Danube is a... More

Very satisfied. Shall come again if can get that good price like this time (TEMPUS Meeting - one night - 50 EUR). My suggestion is maybe to raise the beds. I prefer if bed is more high looking from the floor.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
