We were staying in a two bedrooms apartment and it was lovely. A lot of space, everything you need in a room and in the kitchen. Rooms are very clean and comfortable but could use a renovation. Staff were very nice and helpful. The location is great! Right next to all the shops on vaci utca, supermarket is just a...

There are two things which make this a good hotel. 1. Spacious Rooms - The Basic room came with well equipped kitchen and a sitting area 2. Good Location - Its right next to the Vaci Street on one side, and the Danube on the other Two things that don't work in its favor 1. Doesn't offer a view from...

What a terrific value! We had a huge, comfortable room for an incredible price. We had the two-bedroom suite - I had a big room with my own huge bathroom and TV, my two kids had the other bedroom with their own bathroom and TV, plus we had a complete kitchen and large living room that also had a TV!...

We spent a week here in April '17 and really liked the hotel. It's located in a perfect location - a half a block from Vaci Utca, a block from the Danube and about block from the Elisabeth Bridge. As first-time visitors to Budapest, we were able to easily walk to some of the main city sights or get access...

Enjoyable visit with a group of colleagues .... great rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was disappointing however with little choice in a crowded room. The location is excellent in a nice area .... the hamburger restaurant over the road is super by the way !

On the river, near high end shopping, close to transportation and to Castle Hill (across the bridge). Room was very nice with a small kitchenette (micro, refridge, sink, dishes). Laundry available. Breakfast had hot side dishes, no eggs do to limits in their kitchen. European breakfast items, meats, cheeses, breads, yogurt. Family friendly. Would stay here again.

Direct in the Center of the City, rooms to the backyard very quit, upper floors with wonderful view on Buda side (citadel and castle); Interieur bit old fashioned (typical Budapest Style) but very clean and well maintained; But Breakfast is not worth the money: Imagine breakfast without eggs!! This is a real nogo, sorry. Any Marriott Fairfield (which is the...

A great find! Very modern, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is nicely equipped (dishwasher, microwave, mini-refrigerator) so you can prepare simple meals quickly and easily (no need to partake of the expensive breakfast offered). Large in room safe (very important for storing tablets, phones, wallets, etc), nice bathroom, helpful staff. Another big plus is the free usage of a washing...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
