Corinthia is on the Main Street in Budapest. It won’t be difficult to find an exceptional hairdresser. The concierge will be able to assist you to whatever stylist you want.

We are on a Uniworld Cruise and we have booked an extension in Budapest for two days. We were informed our hotel will be the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal Budapest. I rarely read the "5 star and 4 star" reviews as they as always glowing reports. I read the Average, Poor and Terrible (with understanding that some of the complaints are petty) but I am always concerned when people mention stained carpets, hair in the tub, etc. I understand the a/c problem as we rarely travel to Europe in the summer because, they just do not have a/c that works. My concern is that this is the last stop of what we hope is a wonderful experience, we do not want to be disappointed by a stay that does not meet expectations. So my question is will the Corinthia be the hotel that puts the exclamation point on the trip or the damper? Hoping for clean rooms, stylish, clean carpet, toilets that flush, quiet room, shower that works, a good breakfast buffet and overall great experience. Any suggestions by the way for restaurants for dinner, I see the Caviar and Bull get good reviews, but is there some place the locals go that is reasonable and offers good fare?
