Good location, close enough to the city center and attractions. The kitchen and bathrooms could have been cleaner, but thankfully the rooms were better. Not a bad place to stay, but there are certainly better.

Lovely hostel in a great location, close to everything. Really clean. The staff was kind enough to let us check in at 7am when we arrived to drop our bags off. Comfy beds and there is a nice lounge area with tv and sofas. Also a kitchen available to use and 2 mins from two supermarkets

it was a nice hostel, the rooms were nice and the kitchen was great. the hostel itself was located in a cool building with a very interesting design. but it'd kind of hard to find on the street, we walked right past it a few times. the wifi was AWFUL though, it would work for 2 minutes and then go...

Buzzing nightlife is literally just around the corner (including the amazing Szimpla Kert - one of many 'ruin' bars in Budapest) from this hostel and there is no need to venture far or stagger far home! It is also well placed from which to explore the city centre and is just around the corner from the Synagogue. It was the...

I cannot praise this hostel highly enough - set in a converted apartment in one of Budapest's courtyards set back from the road. It was very cosy, and felt more like a private apartment than a hostel! Our room had 9 beds, four bunks and a single, and was very good value (£8 each for one night) - perfect for...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
