When completed in 1991 (or around), Hotel Veritas was probably a fine hotel, but since then nothing has happened, which - 25 years later - makes it a bit sad. The location is rather depressing too, but luckily there's a metro station within five minutes walk. On a budget this hotel is acceptable, but it's not a great experience.

This hotel is best to avoid. Rooms are very small. We were 3 from a family and were given very small room with hardly any place to move around. Rooms were very very ordinary. Being in road facing room it was noisy at times when speedy vehicles passed during the night. The restaurent offered a very basic breakfast with average...

This is a small hotel near the footbal arena. His proximity to the arena and the metro station make this hotel atractive to turists. The rooms are small to medium, and you can eat breakfast in the small restaurant

Hotel Veritas is a perfect choice if you want to stay in Budapest either a short or a longer period. And if you came to some big event, like concerts, or shows which is hold in the Budapest Arena this is your nest choice, because its only 100 meters far. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff, especially...

The towels are dirty, the shower walls looks like they don't wash it. Bugs in the room. Very rude front desk staff (night shift). Didn't even consider changing our room nor try to do something about the bugs. The room stinks.

We made a confirmed reservation a month before the arrival. They just called us 3 days before the arrival to inform that some others came („a big group") and cancelled our reservation. How is this possible?

I stayed in Budapest for 3 nights with my daughter at the Hotel Veritas. Service at the front desk is very friendly, check in is easy. The room itself was fairly large and clean, pretty nice shower and sinks, breakfast was good. Free internet is awesome, you just have to get the info from the front desk.

We had a family trip, so we looked for family room or a suite for 4 persons that fits the budget. This hotel offered reasonably good location (metro station Puskas Ferenc stadion is nearest and it is 4 stations from centre). The parking was 8 euros (garage), but you have option to park for free across the street. We had...

I was there in winter 2012. We travelled around Hungary and Austria. We stayed about 3/4 days My opinion is not very well. Hotel has very small rooms, poor breakfast and this hotel is far from the heart of this beautiful city, budgetary, hotel is located in an ex Soviet buildings district Of Budapest between old standard ugly buildings (local...
