The positives Location Some friendly helpful staff Breakfast is ok Restaurant food was actually the most westernised we'd had the whole trip. The negatives The noise from the other rooms Rooms aren't made up every day, even though the maids enter and exit the rooms willy nilly to take your belongings. We was coming to the final full day of...

My husband and I traveled to Budapest for 4 days, 3 nights for a short break. The hotel was clean and tidy. The location is excellent! You can walk to a lot of the attractions. There were a few strange things about the hotel. You can hear through the walls in the rooms like you won't believe. I saw comments...

My wife and I booked this hotel via booking.com. Still was here 3 years ago while business trip. Very quite, polite and friendly service of staff. It's close to shopping mile vaci utca and some sightseeing events. A nice hotel with parking possibility, good breakfast inside centre of Budapest! It's absolutely top with clean small rooms.

This hotel is lovely but one major design flaw... We'd turned the air con on before we got into bed but woke up in the early hours feeling like we were suffocating. So called reception to let them know it wasn't working. And they told us that's because air con isn't available during winter. It was 18oc that day and...

I'm actually not quite sure whether we stayed at the same hotel as some of the previous reviewers, but I suppose we all have different standards and expectations of what will receive for the money that we pay. STAFF we received nothing but genuine, polite, helpful and smiling service from every member of staff that we came across. Any staff...

The positives were the hotel's location just off a Main Street of eateries and shops and just a minutes walk from a tram stop and Liberty bridge. We found breakfast adequate and staff were always friendly. Room was small but well decorated with nice bathroom. However I'm afraid all of this was made redundant due to the noise within the...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
