In December me and my partner stayed here and the hotel was just perfect for our city break! It's location is great, right in the city centre, which means only a few minutes walk to get anywhere or to even hop on the tram to get anywhere which might be slightly to far to walk such as the Castle etc....

This was a very well situated hotel literally 5 min to the bridge and Danube (although the directions from booking.com sent us the very long way round) but I suppose gave us chance to suss out various places. It was ideal for 1 possible 2 nights stay but I found the room extremely claustrophobic I booked an executive double and...

We stayed here for seven nights over the Christmas period. The hotel is in a good spot, right next to the food hall and liberty bridge. Shops and restaurants are close by, on the main walkway to the Christmas market. The reception staff were friendly, and the hotel is in a good location, but unfortunately this wasn't enough to make...

We stayed for 3 nights on 4 December 2016. It is centrally located. The hotel was renovated in 2013. It is very modern, staff are extremely friendly. Everyone had English and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast consisted of everything you would want & more! Rooms were modern with all mod cons, roomy with really nice bathroom. Location-wise: very near...

We were really excited to spend our holiday at this hotel, since all the reviews were great. We were let down by the breakfast and a few of the staff (not all). Often the staff acted as if they were doing us a favor and constantly rolled their eyes at us. Overall, I will not be recommending this hotel or...

This is an excellently placed hotel,it is just out of the main town and only just a few minuets walk to main shopping center. The staff and food were all very good. The rooms a little small but they were spotless.(only slept in them). The local transport just down the road ,easy to get around.

Minutes walk to the giant indoor market, turn the other way and find a comprehensive shopping (pedestrian) zone, and close proximity a variety of hop-on/hop-off bus service. The morning, included, breakfast offers a wide variety buffet spread of hot food, deli sliced meats and cheeses, cereals, and pastries. Not a luxury hotel, but a very good price performer for where...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
