This is perhaps the most beautiful hostel of Europe. Below the green hills, the route of tram lines passes through it and the room is so well decorated that it is amazing experience. You would be the hills and the lights and the music of the bar downstairs and there you will find a serene joy!

The facilities are quite average, but there aren't enough bathrooms (2 x floor), as in each floor there are at leeast 4 or 5 rooms of 4, mornings become a competition among the guests to use the bathroom, if the hostel is full of course. The worst for me is there isn't a kitchen and as it's situated quite far...

Not in a central location, however it didn't take long to get to town with a tram not far from the doorstep. We bought tickets to the thermal baths here, which was helpful because it meant we could skip the queues when we got there. The whole place had a cosy and friendly feel to it, and definitely good if...

Clean room, friendly staff, nice place around, not far from the tram. Located on the "Buda"-side of the city. Maybe 15 min by the tram from city center in Buda. Considering the price it is a really good hostel.

OK, so I had 52 people, 45 kids and 7 adults to host for 3 nights in Budapest, I found this hostel completely random, and I booked the whole place for us. I have travelled a bit, but I have never met this helpful, lovely, solve-the-problems-immediately type of people I met here. I would highly recommend it to everyone who...

It's a bit far from the city but near by you can catch buses tram and subway M2 which will take you directly to the city center. The bump beds are fine although the one on top shakes a bit when someone moves but no big deal Doesn't have a kitchen and cleanest is ok, it shares bathrooms in the...

Staff were mostly friendly, the woman who initially checked me in was really helpful. The location is quite far from the centre of town but it's a nice district and easy to get to once you've worked out the chaotic tram repair works. The hostel is super clean and the beds are fairly comfortable. It was extremely noisy at night,...

Located near tram track at the northwest end of the city. Very far form city center and tourist attractions. You have to take several bus and tram transit to reach hosok tere (heroes square) or keleti palyauvdar (keleti station).

This was my first stayed at a hostel which is not well-located with small room (like a jail room) and the staff especially the woman with long hair and big scary eyes on the front desk is extremely impolite. The way she talks and her tone sounds like she is freaky impatience, one word to describe her "RUDE" ! For...

I booked a room online, but when I arrived there, I found out that the hostel is very far from the city center. It takes up to 30-40 minutes to get to the city center, where most of the attractions are located. The room is very very small. I had nowhere to stand, and it was very very noisy. I...
