We had our summer vacation in this hotel for a week. The location is not in the central as they say. You still need to walk about 2 kms to reach the city center. There is Lidt supermarket at the corner near the hotel and have pizzashops also near by but food is awful not worth your money. The hotel,...

The central green hotel is a small decent hotel in the center of Budapest. Walking distance from pretty much everything. It was quiet, and we liked the fact that the reception is open 24/7. Decent rooms and breakfast OK

Very dissapointed with everything. Quite a walk out of town so not central. Threadbare nylon bed sheet, 1 blanket no duvet, no toiletries 1 threadbare towel for 2 of us. Dark corridors with no lights. Old telly with no english channels. Breakfast was Yuk ! few lukewarm scrambled egg and sausages, basic bread and marg, cheap jam. no fruit juice...

I stayed in this hotel while I was inter-railing with some friends. Staying in this hotel really tainted my view of Budapest. The hotel room was a glorified sweat box, it was hotter in our room than it was outside. There was no air conditioning, instead we were given a fan that sounded like a sick lawnmower resulting in none...

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Given how cheap it was, I wasn't expecting high standards but at the very least I was expecting a clean room. The bathroom smelt damp. The room also had a horrible smell. There was no air conditioning, only a fan which sounded like a lawnmower. It was so hot in...

I booked this for the price and location for just one night before a river cruise. It wouldn't take much to make it a lot better. Replacing dated, tattered and worn linens would help a lot. It was a bit scary because things seemed a bit dirty. Pillows are flat and ancient. Bathroom was fairly updated, but could use a...

I have stayed in many a hotel over the years and this one is up their with the worst. The room was dirty and the bathroom worse. On arrival i had to fix the toilet before it could be used, half the lights didnt work, the wifi worked intermittantly due to appaling signal and the furniture was falling to pieces....

While the hotel is situated only 10 minutes to the centre of town, the hotel itself is in need of major refurbishment.I got the holiday deal through Expedia and being very cheap on price I wasn't expecting The Ritz, but at least they could have stuck the wallpaper back on the bedroom walls. On a plus note ,the staff were friendly and most...

The Hotel is in the heart of the city. Very easy to go anywhere even in the middle of the night. Quite neighbourhood. Restaurants and bars are close. Our room was quiet dark. Although the room was clean but it seemed to be dirty.
